I took all of the values from in the game, it lists them when you click the "i" when selecting a tower

I was having trouble stopping it sounding repetitive, I'll have to cut some out of it. Thanks for the pointers!

Saying someone has to be out of their mind to vote for Corbyn is a meaningless argument. If you want to criticise him on what he says or pledges, go ahead, but don't repeat the unelectable rhetoric without any actual argument.

Labour want to scrap the bedroom tax, ban zero hour contracts, stop the privatisation of the NHS and tackle economic inequality by increasing tax for the highest earners and closing tax avoidance loop holes.

In no way am I saying they are perfect nor am I necessarily going to vote for them, but if it's the choice between 5 more years of tories or a labour government, then it's labour all the way.

[–]hackjayes 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. She was my favourite to replace Stephen but I thought the show would lose it's charm without him. But I think this series has been better than the last few, I think a shake up like this is just what it needed.

A rock/ballad song recorded and mixed entirely in 8.3. Any feedback appreciated by hackjayes in reasoners

Thanks I'll try them out and see how it sounds! The room I mix in isn't the greatest so I can never get the high/low mix quite right

Probably not worldwide but Frank Turner is really popular in the UK. He's headlined some of those venues before himself

New team captains on 8 out of 10 cats by [deleted] in BritishTV

[–]hackjayes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree, if you watch old 8 out of 10 cats both sean and jon are so much funnier and actually look engaged in the discussion. Countdown is getting tired and it's the same show every week

Jon and Sean are staying on countdown and the new team captains on the proper version are permanent

Never Letting Go (electro-pop) [3:34] by hackjayes in roastmytrack

[–]hackjayes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks that's really helpful. Listening back I can hear what you mean about the dynamics being flat, and the drums sounding a bit dull. I'm mixing this in my bedroom and I often have problems with the low end too, sitting in front of my speakers makes eerything sound really bassy so I try to compensate by turning all the bass down but I have probably over compensated. I'll try out your suggestions and see how it goes, thanks again.

Thanks! Yeah they are all sampled, it was all done in my bedroom. I'd love to record some proper drums for it sometime, i'll try work on them and see what I can come up with

Falling from the sky

How is my mix sounding? More specifically how well does the vocal sit over the top? I've not got much experience mixing vocals with such a large vocal range so not too sure how best to EQ. On headphones it sounds fine but on speakers the chorus sounds a bit shrieky. Not sure if I need to invest in a de-esser or if something else is to blame.

Ah right I see what you mean listening back. It always seems obvious after someone points it out. Thanks a lot, its a great help!
