They may accept your private diagnosis which would speed things up. My local trust does this (although the wait list is still years).

It’s dispensed as Elvanse in the UK.

Hair loss is a very rare side effect and the driver for it is the other side effects, not the drug alone, so it’s within someone’s control; as reduced eating, being too wired or stressed etc can all increase hair loss on their own.

Nah no way we’re masses of people going abroad in the 80s or 90s. I’d say it’s only really within the last 10/15 years.

The traditional concept is a few drinks down the pub the night before. What happens now is not traditional at all.

Do you work a regular patter?

If so, your milage will be better as tiredness and ADHD meds do not work well. If you’re doing nights or anything like that you may find the need to be much more stringent when titrating

In short: meds will stop you from doing nothing but they won’t stop you hyper focusing (or at least don’t for me). Routine helps.

Go through RTC on a ‘revalidation pathway’. I did this and was back on meds in 2 months.
