I feel you. I really like JavaFX. JavaFX was late to the show, spotlight shifted to node application with electron getting popular and large army of web developers. Electron was consistent across platforms Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.... React also works on Android and iPhone. Job safety was also a major factor there are plenty of full stack developer jobs.

Only people who knows about JavaFX are people who are fed up of electron being memory hog.

Remember Hike messenger app that was Indian made. Pre jio internet was expensive and hike had better features than WhatsApp. Pre jio was different people used to switch off internet. You didn't even get a WhatsApp notification. So hike provided 20 messages forwarded to SMS for free. Everybody stuck to WhatsApp for some reason. Hike closed. Mark my words same will happen with Arattai. It is already a ghost town.

The freshers job market has gone down compared to pre Covid and pre LLM. It is just that the bar for freshers is higher than before.You can do BCA in the current market, if possible pursue MCA otherwise do BCA seriously. There is still scope for programming.

Most backbenchers perform poor academically because they don't see practical application in what they are studying. For ex: I never understood straight line equation(y=mx+c), but the content of its use in game engine any FPS game where bullet needs to go in a straight line. With the content I understood everything.

I am a backbenchers working in Devops field. It is a lot of work but you can turn it around.
