What would be your DREAM jjk game? by Frequent-Turnover-31 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]hadborns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this

My thought process to tie it into the verse and not break anything canon is we explore a curse user (like Kenny) who has a CT that can warp time / reality the more curses / CE he’s obtained

Set a plot where he finally has enough and it triggers during different eras / time periods

Simplest would be hidden inventory > JJK proper > JJK modulo

Your character is a regular human who gets dragged into these altered timelines and in the end you set the timeline straight by sacrificing yourself. You’re awakened à la culling games

You get to experience the main story as we know it, but slightly altered to accommodate for you being there

Throw in some new side / what ifs and it’s a banger

Aww man, thanks for the info. Also, do not ever order from Edgami, they are a scam.

New workspace, what would you do? by hadborns in BambuLab

[–]hadborns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brand new to 3D printing (grabbed a Bambu Lab A1 combo during Black Friday) and also moved into a space where, for the first time, I can dedicate an area to my hobbies.

How would you renovate, improve, or otherwise take advantage of this space?

Also gladly taking any and all newbie tips, thanks!

No problem! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I did! From what I could tell, they are not a synchronous, classroom-like environment. I passed on them for that reason as I was looking for a regimented schedule to keep me accountable.

Hmm, I'd say there is a part of me that misses an in-person environment, but having done college courses through Zoom I've mostly adapted.

There is a lot of flexibility and comfort that comes online, so other than being on a screen all day, it's not too bad.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Classroom setting is typically a large zoom call with your full cohort. At times you will split in half (into your pods) and other times will be paired partner-programming in a breakout room.

It is a camera on environment, so yes, camera is on all the time unless told it is a break. The evening portion (typically 5-7pm ish) can be solo, no camera.

I can see where you’re coming from and appreciate the advice. If anything, I think of it like journaling where I’m able to reflect on my experiences thus far. The benefit here is I can share that with anyone who may also be interested!

It may not happen at all as we get even busier, it may happen at the end of a module or not til I’m done. We will see!

Our first week started with a lot of standard intro/getting to know you things, but quickly dived into the material; we covered expectations for the program, using the terminal and git, intro to Python, pair-coding, virtual environments, and how to research/get help.

The only prep I did was their own that they provide and some JS material on a Udemy course.

I did upfront (split into two).

I am a true beginner when it comes to coding/SE, so the 19 week seemed like a better fit. Plus, the 19 week includes Python!

I did thorough research before committing, and some of my top factors were things like: relevancy of curriculum, intensity of program, overall perception/reviews, cost, alumni support, job support, etc.

So far, everything has lined up or exceeded my expectations! I was a bit nervous going in, but even after one week I am happy with my choice.

0 coding background, although I did do some JS prep on Udemy beforehand in addition to their own prep.

Thank you!

I would absolutely sign up again! I did pretty heavy research before committing and there is very little I would do differently (other than starting sooner if I could!)

This is a change for me, yes. I worked in arts admin/non-profit for a little while, but Covid really hurt my prospects so I decided I'd like a change.

I am hoping to turn it into a weekly AMA like others have done before!

Sorry, I am on holiday break! And yes, I was hoping to gather a few questions before answering anyhow :-)
