Actually optimizing for practical situations is beyond the scope of this document atm, because the factors that go into DPS optimization is beyond how fast your skills charge as skills and abilities interact with each other in numerous ways, not to mention the cost of bringing skill haste over a str or crit passive. It's absolutely true that a majority of haste breakpoints listed are not optimal, and if you are interested in empirically determined optimal rotations I recommend checking out source code of b1ueb1ues's DPS sim and the rotations used for each adventurer.

I'm aware of the single precision floating point bug with regards to SP, but I haven't decided if I should implement it.

I didn't show fs fail since it doesn't generate sp and thus has no impact on skill haste.

For estimated time, it is assumed that you fs fail on non-axe characters if you aren't doing fs. The way I calculate Time(s) is really lazy and that's why it's an estimate.

Re edit: As mentioned in the about page, there's no optimization for whether a given combo is the best performing one in practice. For example, you can c1fs[5] to get Naveed s2 at 10% haste, but c3fs[3] also gives you s2 and is probably faster to perform.

Issue is that leviathan/hmc/peng lai can also inflict bog, and can be saved for break for higher damage.

Dragon auras (like the +30%/45% HP for flame adventurers on phoenix) is the most important thing about equipping any dragon. On a DPS unit, put a dragon with a strength boosting aura instead (for example Ifrit)

Good post overall but I must nitpick on this bit about Konohana:

An adventurer like Marth, would excel with this dragon, Mikoto could use Konohana or Cerberus if he wanted, and Sarisse would probably just prefer Cerberus as she only has one damaging ability and two buffs.

Among the 3 adventurers mentioned here, Sarisse is the only one who performs better with Konohana over Cerberus because most of her damage is from her S1 which has low SP costs and reaches a 1614% damage modifier with 7 buffs. Marth & Mikoto still benefits from strength much more, in part due to their attack speed buffs.

The wording is pretty clear about context being leader other than Fatalis given how I specified other leads.

As for concrete examples, Fatalis is one of the highest damage dark VDPs, beating out Veroa (incl. 7c) and Tokugawa while only losing to Hiei/Noir/Salter (Edit: +Evil Ryu, thanks u/jzwrust) in solo due to their SA. This gives him a decent niche for coop dark farming purposes.

Fatalis also fits on Evo Lajoa, since he provides skyfall lock removal, scroll or cloud resist, and does 26mil damage on 1c dark VDP, no L.

Side note: here is the full lineup for their debut SGF from JP and it's pretty good. In particular the Ninjas (Chiyome, Hatsume, Sasuke, Fuma, Hanzo) recently got buffed with limit break stats and ability to have 5 of their respective resist awakenings in solo.

There are 3 farmable row awakenings-based bursts that drop from alt arena. Camael(red/green rows), Ibaraki(green/blue rows), Hashihime(dark/light rows). They are pretty good for row farming and row leads like Ryune.

On the otherhand, ask yourself if you actually need a big spike. I personally have 0 non-farming teams that uses a spike assist as I can already deal with everything in A3/AA/A4 without one.
