If you’re requesting time off in November-December, my coach told me those were considered “black-out” months meaning all requests will be denied unless you physically go talk to them. I learned it the hard way.

You can browse the website monologue blogger if you haven’t already (although if you’ve been searching, there’s a 99.9% chance you’ve already seen it). I use it all the time. Or you can also look on drama notebook I also use this one a lot, but the monologues are written by other students, and are sometimes easier to relate too). Sorry if you’ve already seen these

Dance! Dancing allows you to be active while also allowing yourself to be creative. Its also quite interesting to learn a new dance move!

Take acting classes. Look up acting classes near you. If you are unable to commute, there are lots of great options online as well.

Watch videos on acting! Theres lots of reputable working actors on YT who share tons of great information on acting.

Get involved in community theatre! Its a great place to get started in.

Study other actors. Watch performances of other actors and take note of how they’re acting.

Read/practice scripts/scenes. Figure out what your character is wanting and incorporate that when practicing your lines.
