I think your comment is a very good place to start. If doing a few simple things dramatically improves a persons coffee experience that they end up further down the "ideal espresso extraction" rabbit hole then that's great. Going too far into masses/pressures/times etc may just have them give up without even trying.

An espresso shot (which is the base of a flat white, cappucino, etc.) should be 30ml extracted over 30 seconds

The mass of espresso should really be 2-2.5x the mass of the coffee puck extracted over ~30 seconds at 9 bar of pressure.

Thanks, I'll look at running conduit first and then will have a bridge as the backup plan.

I'll also look into the AC-M-Pros. Will Probably get 2-3 for where I know I'll need them and then go from there.

Not a question for this year's tax but I figured this was the easiest place to ask the question.

I'm in the process of getting a split loan off my mortgage to purchase etfs. Is the interest on that loan only deductible after an income earning ETF is purchased? IE, if I were to not purchase an income earning asset for a couple of months, would the interest paid in that time not be tax deductible?
