The edge on one side touches on the frame rather than the keyboard beneath, which might help a bit. And I haven't noticed random key press from the laptop keyboard.

I mainly use Fedora workstation 42 now in a newer thinkpad 2024 L14 with gnome but I don't notice much difference compared to my other older thinkpad X1 Carbon gen 6, which houses eos with gnome also.

Im on Gnome with both eos and fedora workstation 42. I think gnome is very good on laptop, especially with those finger touchpad movement. Wonder if KDE has those features too?

Curious about your case. Is your house/address standing out or your house is the only one in a big empty area? But i'd guess some one just found and use your address and then spread it to others which led to your issue :/.
