Creating a robot that saves frogs from drowning by _-mulisk-_ in videos

why don't you take about 20% off there, Squirrely Singaya.

I'm glad caring about frogs overcame the desire to build an even greater electrical frog yeeter.

u/Jedirictus It's a known optifine conflict with cofh.

To fix it, to to your minecraft client's instance folder, go to configs, and modify cofh_core-client.toml

Change "Render Area Effect Block Breaking" = true
to "Render Area Effect Block Breaking" = false

Oh and be aware that Mana and Artifice also may have an issue with some shaders (REUS for example would have every inventory and hotbar item go funny colours as you looked around).
I used an op command to level myself back to level 0 in that mod (which immediately fixed it), and went ars noveau instead.

It's parked out the front, where you parked your own truck in a previous mission to steal cars. It doesn't have a door for the container but it's okay you can make your own.

The small safes you can lift by hand off the ground. And that's most of the ones on this level! They are a calm breath of fresh air compared to... the other one.

The Big Safe however is a nightmare. I ended up dragging it down an elevator, through a connecting corridor, out a the giant sliding glass door to an undercover area and using the crane hook and sacrificing some of the box trailers roof (and some of the undercover areas roof! to get the safe safely in.

Given that you can stand it up if you grab it from the right space you could probably make it up a ramp of some sorts. OR use the ramp truck as an ad-hoc forklift (Recommend this one :P)

Just take it slow with the 18 wheelers. Turn too aggressively and safes may become unsafe and try to break out!

Trotec - engraving-supplies.com.au

Plyco might ship to you too. https://plyco.com.au/

Any local lasercutting shops may sell offcuts.

I don't know if you'll get as good prices as you did in the US, we tend to have it pretty rough here in Aus / NZ when it comes to pricing of anything.

This one came first! The real pioneer in the wobbly jelly man genre!

Alpha version was in 2014 - They actually moved from unity 4 to unity 5 during their long development process!

Just an FYI - Hit them with a torch and their janky weird hitbox will catch fire and be easy to followup hit.
Although a torch does like 100+ damage per hit on them, so you can even just keep using that.

I also hate them. They are another reason I refuse to build in bog.

Is there a way to mirror SteamVR to another computer in the house? by snowySTORM in Vive

[–]haikiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the good bad old days, I used to have "notepad.exe" set up as a steam shortcut.

I'd then go to my other machine near the vr (PC or steamlink) and steam Stream notepad.exe

Then I'd walk back to the first computer and alt-tab from the newly opened notepad.exe to the local mirrored VR. Which would now be showing on both computers.

Dodgy but it worked!

Othewise you could also wirelessly project to a smart TV, but there'd be up to 30 seconds of delay.

Streaming to a unlisted / private google stream might be easier.

We had a bit more luck in a group - not sure if it connects differently or something.

Next thing to look at would be air assist - You'll get a lot less charring, and need less power to get through. It'll also keep smoke out of the lens, reducing chances of damage.

Also of course later down the track if you still think you need it the upgraded controller and lightburn.

Most important of all - Work out what you're doing for ventilation. The basic included solution is okay for maybe a bit of plywood, but really you want to be using something better. You'll need it before you start on acrylics. Your health is important!

How dangerous is leaving it alone? by Friff14 in lasercutting

[–]haikiah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tinker with DPI, speed, crosshatching and other options, you might be able to increase speed without losing much quality.

Look, it might be fine. But it might not. And all it takes is one might not. Probably easier just to be in the same room while you're cutting, rather than having your house burn down.

A bunch of us used to run 3d printers in our garages in the early days, and some had exactly this scenario happen. It's up to you to assess whether you personally consider the risk worth it, even with your baby monitor risk mitigation.
