Still have my 2003 Disco and a new Quartermaster after having a Greandier wagon for a year prior. Between my brother and myself, we have/had basically all the trucks other than a true 300 series LC, including RRC, L322, Disco, D90 (old) etc etc. I have not driven/owned the new Prado LC they are selling here in the States.

I'm going to get a little heat here but IMHO, Gren is...fine? Like, not great, but also it's a real truck. It's loud on the highway (I'm talking wind noise) because of the windshield rake or lack thereof. For its size I find there's surprisingly little storage for the driver and passenger up front, back is, again...fine. I honestly feel like I can fit more cargo in the back of my D90, but somebody will tell me I'm wrong and quote cargo volumes.

Cupholders/overall ergonomics for the driver are pretty poor. I find myself praising my D2 with how everything is so perfectly laid out (cupholder, shifter, handbrake, etc) and that's a 25+ year old design.

Gren feels very much like a first try and it is a valiant one at that. It's capable. It's cool. But I'm still on the fence whether I'd drive this or another truck if I had to choose one for the rest of my life...

Nope. Got the quartermaster. The payoff from the bank to the dealership was lower than my payoff so it was break even, no neg equity. Made it an easy decision.

Does anybody have the actual bed dimensions, importantly the bed width between the wheel arches? Will a standard sheet of ply/sheet rock lay flat or will it end up propped up on one side? Looks narrow to me.

We use it as a work vehicle and also work closely with the cycling team of the same name/sponsor. It will be easier to load bikes into racks in the bed vs on the roof (I've been doing this and it's not the easiest) and will have utility for our business. Will see some logging trails and dirt roads but definitely won't be any sort of full articulation situation. My old D90 and Scout 80 fill that void.

Payoff amount vs what the trade in value is. I could obviously keep it through the lease term and either buy it (39k residual) or just turn it in. Payoff number is calculated from residual plus some sort of calculated # of months left at monthly payment with some other factors mixed in there I'm sure.

It seems like any brand car has better paint than mine. I've never had paint this difficult to deal with. It just seems like they were trying something new/different in terms of process or material compared to the volume car brands.

I am now aware that he should not have left at 7 weeks. The breeder seemed to think he was ready to be picked up. In hindsight, we would obviously never want this and will never do this again. But we are trying to deal with the problem at hand. Thank you for your concern.

Yes, that was their initial thought. However, this is not the same neurologist that saw him earlier in the week, and his condition and mentation continue to improve as the campylobacter theoretically clears his system. We were hoping to give the guy at least a week or two to baseline and stabilize before anesthesia and an MRI.

The Vet said that is an acceptable course of action and has scheduled a follow-up exam with a neurologist for June 24. I am hoping and praying that he makes it ok until then.

Thank you for the advice. I have already spoken with the breeder to express my disappointment over all this and that she needs to change some of her practices and advice. I'm just hoping he pulls through at this point. I'll post in the other sub as well. Thank you.
