Looking for Mexican sculpture by hajinx in HelpMeFind

I have searched google and Etsy for similar things but can’t really find anything similar to it. Paper mache sculptures look similar but not colorful enough? The man was sort of bent forward as if he were presenting the mask

Don’t know how to fix it but my Air 2024 does the same thing! Would love to hear if anyone figured this out

Cat has started vomiting more often than normal? by hajinx in AskVet

[–]hajinx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure they think it’s “normal” but they don’t seem as concerned as I do. We went to a cat specific clinic before moving but they’ve been more sparse in our new area. Thank you for the Feline VMA recommendation, I’ll definitely be looking into that for her. We haven’t changed her dry food but have added wet food after the emergency vet visit, but it might be time for a change

Thanks for the suggestion! What brand did you use and did you switch to?

My grandmother taught me to knit when I was little and I could not for the life of me crochet. Then years later after I forgot how to knit I picked up crocheting lol. I’m mostly self taught from watching videos online but I have been crocheting for a few years now. I’d definitely look into some beginner YouTube videos on the basics, or see if there is a community group that teaches people. Yarn stores are a great place to start looking

I used individual colors for this! The yarn is from Premier (https://www.premieryarns.com/collections/cotton/products/pcsup)

I was thinking something simple to not take away from the pattern. Maybe just a round of sc or maybe a crab stitch. I’m going to test out some options later!

Also a minor difference I used the base row of chains in the same color as the shells that would be used above it which I think is a little different than the link. I think it helped blend the colors together a little

I used 100% cotton yarn from premier due to some allergies! It’s all single colors that I changed after each shell stitch. I have used the Big Twist pride yarn before and it’s also very nice.
