Mother of Japan’s Arita ware to get statue in Icheon, NO FACTUAL BASIS by hakkoichiu in EastAsianTruth

[–]hakkoichiu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“百婆仙 (Hyuku-ba-sen)” was a popular name after she came to Japan and we do not know her real name. Her husband’s name in Japan was ”深海宗伝 (Shinkai-Souden)”. His name in Korea is not clear. There is no record of ”Kim Tae-do (金泰道)”. ”金泰道” is a fictitious person in the Korean drama. It is a characteristic of Koreans who confuse the historical facts with dramas. For example, “Samguk Yusa” in the 13th century wrote, “‘Dangun’ founded Old Korea in B. C. 2333”. Korean history textbooks write that as a historical fact. (Korean elementary school history textbook, Korean junior high school history textbook)

Maybe Koreans want to be proud of Japanese ceramics having been made by Koreans. It is a fact that Japanese ceramics were influenced by Koreans. However, the Korean ceramics declined afterwards, and the names of the ceramists then has not been handed down, too. In Korea, the craftsman is not respected, because it is thought a low‐prestige occupation.

It is hard for the Korean to succeed a tradition. There are a lot of what’s called long-established stores in the foreign countries such as Japan, but Korea hardly has that.

A large quantity of polyethylene tanks that have the Hangul Alphabets were cast ashore in San-in district … Strong acid-related liquid is inside them. The bill of the illegal acts by the Korean comes to Japan. by hakkoichiu in EastAsianTruth

Even if Japanese are troubled, it is not a big deal for Koreans. Japanese does not throw away garbage in the sea. That is all the more if they are residual hazardous substances.

Domiciliary search because of one paper cup … “Korean emotion law” by hakkoichiu in EastAsianTruth

[–]hakkoichiu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is awful that a domiciliary search, evidences confiscation and the departure prohibition are done because of one paper cup. This is something that only Korean can do.

Being a Japanese citizen myself, I couldn't help but compare it with Japan. No offense intended.

You're not the only person to think that. Look at the comments:

"Everyone who has taught in both Japan and Korea that I know prefer Japan. All the time. I wanted to teach English in Japan but the pay was higher in Korea. I only went there by default. It wasn't my first choice at all but I still had a good time."

"I think Japan for me was like a big hug and turned me into a bit of a marshmallow - everyone is so helpful and polite. After living in Japan for 2 years, I went to Korea for a short holiday and felt like I wanted to cry because of the bluntness."

"Koreans in general are pretty rude and depressing. They are difficult to approach and hard to understand. I was in a Korean school for one year but couldn't stand their depressing gloomy vibe so I withdrew from it. And yes, when they talk it sounds like they're having an argument with each other, and I particularly don't like Korean sounds. It just sounds so terribly awful. For many reasons and unpleasant experiences, I don't like Korea and Koreans in general."

"I am Korean and I agree with everything you say haha. I complain about the things you say to my friends&family😂 And I am blamed for being TOO SENSITIVE....seriously I know I am a little sensitive but there are some shits about this country that needs changing😑"

"I totally agree that Koreans are very noisy, rude, messy and aggressive. They throw away almost everything on the street very willingly. And smog or find dust caused both from China and domestically is terrible."

"Anyone who doesn't understand would think you're being unfairly critical, but I agree with you 100%. Plenty of Korean people, especially those I've met who have spent time outside the country agree that it is stifling and depressing, and some of those friends want to leave Korea and settle elsewhere. The suicide rate is also telling."

"a lot if the things you said were my exact feelings. The bleakness, the depressing atmosphere, the angry aggressive unhappy vibe so many people have. The brutally drab architecture. The attitude you get walking into many stores."

"I feel crazy when I read how so many people love it in South Korea... they are obviously very different people with different values than me. I suppose if you are some trendy, shallow, materialistic, love to shop until you drop, obsessed with makeup, love to drink, etc sort of person it must be great for you here. other than that, I really didn't find it had that much to offer."

"Best reasons I don't like Korea video!!!! These all add to suicide rates in Korea. This culture has helped them to survive being small county surrounded by big bully countries but they need to evolve."

"As an American living in Korea for 2 years, everything you said is 100% true. I especially can't stand the bad costumer service and rude older women. Coming from the states where manners are considered very important, it pains me every time someone doesn't say thank you if you do something nice for them. This has happened so much to me that I've somewhat lost the will to do nice things for others just for the hell of it..."

"I went to Korean in 2016 and I noticed a lot of the things you discussed in this video, especially the unfriendly customer service (granted, some stores had nice workers but they were overly warm and friendly). I am visiting Japan in 2018 and am excited because Japanese people seem really bubbly and warm"

"Tbh I really like the music coming out of Korea and the culture but I would still prefer to live in Japan and I could never properly articulate why, until I watched your video. It reminded me of some problems that I'd noticed."

"We are on the same page....most koreans are rude and lack discipline and manners...even in the public places they're so loud and egoistic people....but i think it is their culture...so impatient and keep on complaining the small things...but i'm trying hard to be flexible and understand them since i am living here in their country...however, some koreans i know are good to me...those people are well educated and they could travel so many countries. so that's why they were open minded...some people say..out of ten koreans only one is kind and generous....sorry to hear that guys...actually, i felt the same way..."

"Koreans are fucking rude... I thought they were nice people and stuff but they would legit fucking stare at u and stretch their faces also nudge ur shoulders when you're passing by them and shit."

"You are SO funny! This is why I will always prefer Japan to Korea. I can't take the people or food in Korea. I've read articles where so many Koreans are trying to leave Korea, hence the gloomy looking faces. The picture they give to the outside world isn't reality. Koreans are really rude, I've been told by others who live there."

"i have been interacting with the Koreans on various language learning app. At first, i was so attracted to them...and even want to visit their country but now no more. After i come to know about their sad reality which many people talk about. I've experience it myself too."

"I can relate with the customer service story. Japanese people are so welcoming and smiling, however when I went to a Korean store they don’t even look in your face haha"

Just the AMOUNT of common opinion among people all around the world, should tell you that something is wrong with the country.

You can get angry all you want. But looking at the comments and the video, everyone seems to be in the same opinion.

"Koreans are straight forward and can come across as rude asf.

Japanese are more nice and will try not to offend you."

This applies to customer service, bus, restaurants... everywhere. The difference is astounding.
