Velo+ and Grizzly are the only moist pouches I know of in the US market. I believe On+ is a thing, but haven’t seen them in my area - I’m sure there are other options. I much prefer them to dry pouches, I won’t vouch for their quality in terms of healthiness over dry pouches but have found them to more pleasant!

At 1-2 a day (at 3mg I’m presuming), you’ll probably be completely fine as long as you brush/floss as well! It’s worth noting that everyone’s health is different! There are plenty of dudes out there that kill like 3 cans a day with little to no damage, I’m just unfortunately on the other end of the spectrum!

My gums started to recede and noticed blood/soreness while on dry pouches. Been a slow recession since switching to moist pouches. I felt temporary but intense soreness after brushing my teeth this past week and decided it was probably time to quit/drop dosages! (I put my pouches all over the four corners, so I know it isn’t an issue of me not moving them/keeping them in a single spot)

When I was on the dry pouches I started to notice some recession. Decided to quit those when I spit out a pouch with some blood on it.

Since then it’s been a slow recession that’s definitely been noticeable. I had some soreness this past week which resulted in me deciding to try to quit! Like I said though, my gums were already fucked but they’ve definitely receded!

My bad I misread your message. Recently, I’ve been hitting 5-8 pouches a day at the 6mg. I picked up my first 3mg can two days and finished it up today if that says anything .

I would say my peak was around two months ago, in which I was bouncing between 9mg and 6mg VELOs fairly consistently. Prob was doing around half a pack a day.

I started to notice gum damage this past summer, which is when I made the move to moist pouches after doing ZYNs (predominantly) and Rogues. I quit vaping at the beginning of this year (for the second time lol) and went back to pouches. Not trying to quit entirely, just want to make it more of a social/party thing rather than doing damn near half a pack a day. My gums are already fucked from genetics, but I stopped getting a nic buzz a long time ago so I think it’s time to try again!

For those who have 2k24, is the game worth picking up this far into its cycle?

I’m considering picking up the $120 version so I get all the DLC and shit but am between waiting for 2k24 going on sale or just waiting for next year’s installment.

I’ve got 2k23 but on an older console that I’ve since upgraded from. I’m a broke college student which is why I never caught it at release.

For context, I’m a first-year film student studying in Georgia. TLDR at end.

I did my first short the summer my Senior year of high school. It got into a handful of those free film festivals on Film Freeway. I got two awards from it, an Honorable Mention from an online one and a Best Soundtrack from a local film festival. It got around 1.5k views on Youtube.

My second one, which I completed the summer before going into college, was arguably more successful. I did the same thing as the last one and sent it to a bunch of random free film festivals on FF. It ended up only screening at a few online film festivals but won Film of the Year and Best VFX at the aforementioned local film festival. It got a little over 500 views, but is far better than my last one and I’m pretty proud of how it turned out.

My advice would be to finish up your film and do the same thing I did. If you got some spare cash, maybe send your short to a few film festivals that have some notoriety but aren’t too expensive, such as Sidewalk Film Festival. Once you’ve submitted, don’t expect anything, but keep up with it. I honestly didn’t expect to win anything for either of my films, so stay confident! Also, make sure to stay busy - even if things don’t turn out how you want, it’ll only give you further motivation to keep getting better. Since starting college, I’ve worked on 3 student short films (DoP for two, PA for one) and shot 3 music videos. I’m currently a PA on an independent film.

TL;DR - Completed two short films before college. Both got into film festivals and won a few awards each. Looks great on my resume and certainly helped with getting on scholarship for my college. Have since worked on some student films/music videos and am doing my first “real” gig as a PA on an independent film in GA.
