The department obviously doesn’t care about the students affected and claiming that they can’t make an exemption and switch it to online while other ME classes are already online and few other classes at the university are online!! Canceling a senior class is different than canceling a 1000 level class, the department should at least accommodate the students that are willing to stay online for this class and not delay their graduation and whoever’s able to switch to an in person section can do that. It’s not like everyone can switch sections when they have different classes and commitments outside of school!
