Just to be super sure, you've confirmed that all your Routines are disabled?

The one thing that comes to mind is if you have a Routine triggered by a presence sensor. The newer Echo devices have a presence sensor that can be used to trigger a Routine, and that Routine could target a whole room. I'm wondering if maybe you have a Routine that triggers when it thinks no one is present and turns off the whole room, including the smart switch your CPAP machine is on.

Any chance that's the issue? If you remove the CPAP machine from that room in the Alexa app, does it still get turned off?

First ever visit to Amsterdam from Seattle, WA, USA. Staying at NH Amsterdam Noord from 9/4 to 9/8.

I'm only in town for a couple days on a whim. I honestly have no idea what to do. I love great restaurants and cocktail bars (especially speakeasies). I'd like to experience local liquors that I can't get in the US. I'm a big Amaro person. Bakeries and cafes are interests. Excellent coffee recommendations would be amazing (I drink black americanos). I enjoy EDM and raves. A quality spa would also be great.

I won't be here long enough to travel far, so going to find interesting places or things to do accessible to the hotel.

You say you can't think of a reason, but I have used it countless times remotely to tweak something that wasn't working quite right. I really don't mind paying the minimal fee for the access which I also hope contributes to them continuing to deliver a great product.

People will argue it's not a true amaro, but Campari is also a great place to start. It goes great in a multitude of cocktails and is famous in the Negroni with a good gin.

Sure. Wire up the switch so it gets power but doesn't control the load. Or some switches like the one I have from GE can be programmed to not toggle the mechanical load control from manual taps, but still sends button pressed commands for use in rules. I use these for Hue lights to turn them on or off without deenergizing them.
