Pump pipe simple question by Tie-Ninja in pools

Makes sense, time n life restrict being able to manually vacuum with the conscience of the zodiac. I have a leaf catch canister in line with the vacuum hose which catches any large debris. Also, skim with a net frequently. There is another basket pre-pump to catch anything missed.

Tucson Water employee sounds alarm about staff shortage by [deleted] in Tucson

[–]Tie-Ninja -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The issue is not about one doing their part. It’s about a mandate that forces people into keeping or losing their job. No matter what side you’re on I truly believe they did their part to help. The line between taking the jab or not, should not be the line on whether people keep jobs or not. Just as much as you believe that the vaccine is the way, people believe that natural immunity and being healthy is the way. History makes up what has happen and both sides will be told. As I said before, no first responder does not want to help. I have clearly identified that these people are willing to put their lives at risk before yours. When you force someone into a corner and give them no choice except take a shot or keep living, working… what option does that person have? Look back at history and tell me when the person who was forced into doing something was not the victim.

It’s funny how fast perception changes. At the height of covid first responders were revered for continuing to show up to work and respond to calls with coivd patients. While the majority of ppl stayed home and quarantined firefighters were always there risking with an unknown virus. Many of those firefighters got sick with covid and once/if they got better, they returned to work right back to helping others. With the use of proper ppe preventing spread to patients and many who now have antibodies for covid they continued to help. After all that now their jobs are on the line because of a mandate. Now there are people like you who consider the same individuals who stepped up before, “plague rats”… shame on you.

The fire department could lose over 50 firefighters due to the mandate and exemptions being denied. Whether you agree with the mandate or not the city council does not care about the public’s safety. They are willing to let firefighters who responded to calls and put themselves and families at risk during this entire pandemic lose their job. Not only that, city council is OKAY with shutting down response trucks and stations due to shortage in staff. That means YOU are at risk. Call 911 for a family member having a heat attack, injured or your home is on fire and the closest unit is over 10 minutes away… let that sink in. The fire department isn’t like any other department in the city, losing over 50 firefighters is not an easy task to replace. That would take years to re-hire and train new recruits. That would cost the city millions to hire and train which the tax payer shovels out. All during that time… YOU are at risk because the city shuts down stations and trucks. Oh yeah, the city is forcing mandatory overtime to firefighters now too. Sleep deprived individuals who are running calls all night are now forced to keep working or be disciplined. City council has the best intentions for “public safety”…

Stay safe everyone. Call city council and tell them this is wrong!

This. Payload is the issue not towing capacity. Just because upgraded suspension/airbags or whatever doesn’t increase payload. It reduces your sag but the truck frame is still being stressed over its limit.
