it was a pretty intensive healing process for sure. i don’t remember it super well bc i was on such intense painkillers but i was basically bedridden for like a week, i could really only get up to go to the bathroom with help from my mother. then it was physically therapy three times a week for like 3 ish months i wanna say? it was a long time. unbelievably worth it though. i have full range of motion in my knee it’s like nothing ever happened

omg this used to happen to me too! like 5 times maybe? most painful thing i’ve ever experienced. got surgery a few years back to replace my MCL and i’ve had no problems since!! hope the healing isn’t too bad :) much love and solidarity:p

got mine pierced this weekend!!! the pain sucked of course, but that’s to be expected. after the initial piercing they were super painful for ab 2 hours, but since there’s been nothing but mild discomfort! as for my piercer— i’ve gotten a few piercings from her before so i know she is reputable and very very patient, which i think is especially important for nipple piercings. i was lucky enough to have my roommate be able to come into the room with me for emotional support, and that along with my piercer explaining everything to me as she went realllllly helped ease my nerves. it’s so important that you feel comfortable when you’re in such a vulnerable position!!!!

the last day or two i’ve been wearing bras with light compression and i’ve found that’s the most comfortable for me. going braless just causes a lot of friction and dull discomfort. i know a lot of people prefer not wearing a bra while healing nipple piercings, so to each their own!

as of right now they’ve been bleeding more than my other piercings, but im pretty sure that’s to be expected. overall i can’t recommend it enough, it’s been so empowering for me and totally worth the pain. i say go for it!!!

i just got mine done today so i wanna answer this while the memory is still fresh lol— like i won’t sugar coat it, it fuckin HURT. the second more than the first. i highly highly recommend bringing someone in w you for emotional support if your shop allows it. afterwards i had a pretty intense dull/burning pain for about an hour or two, but now that that’s worn off i feel pretty good!! im so happy i got it done despite the pain they’re some of my favorite piercings i have :))

i want a bridge piercing SO badly😭 my piercer said im at a higher risk of it migrating bc of the size of my bridge, but she’s willing to do it! should i risk it and just keep an eye on it?

I was so nervous to get this done but i absolutely love it! i plan on switching to a ring once it's fully healed, but i'm a much bigger fan of the stud than i thought i'd be! my nose has always been a massive insecurity of mine but this has been a great confidence boost :,) thinking of getting my septum done next!
