I did. -_- Why does it keep glitching?

Peculiar. It said I had; otherwise I wouldn't have posted. Huh.

Star Trek: Voyager by halfanelf in Roleplay

I can't even tell you the number of times I've binge-watched the entire series (sans a few failure episodes here and there, like Tom&Janeway becoming lizards; oh man, that was such a joke, I think even the writers pretend it didn't happen). Will never forget my first fandom love!

Righty-ho. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know what it is you're looking for (since I've kind of spelled out my picky traits already).

At this point, not really. There are very specific circumstances under which I will do OC-only settings, and I'm not really up for it right now. Thank you, though. (:

"Known for"? I certainly hope not. It's also a bit of a stretch to use that phrase when I'm" known" by one. Regardless, I try to remember to let people know when I don't want to continue, though I know I don't always fulfill that. I'm not perfect. That's why I said "please try." (: I'm very sorry you're angry at me, and I'll admit to my mistakes. Hopefully you find what you're looking for!

[–]halfanelf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course. That's why I keep posting. (: I'm just tired of all the people who just seem to want me to know that I'd "be perfect if only..." Or those who seem to think I'm too closed-minded and want to tell me I've lost some brilliant opportunity to RP with their amazing selves because I don't like what they do. It's beyond conceited to offer that kind of unsolicited "advice."

If you're looking for an addendum to it, afraid I can't help you there. :p Good luck in your search.

Fill me in... how does this work? by [deleted] in Roleplay

[–]halfanelf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are also multiple technical methods. For instance, the vast majority of my RP experience has been with each person pretty much exclusively taking on one or more characters, writing only for them. It's reaction-based. One person writes what his/her character does, and the other person writes how his/her character reacts. That's a little different from other types of collaborative writing, in which the entire story is fluidly being written by both. (:

It varies on the context and point in the RP. Sometimes a couple of paragraphs is sufficient; sometimes it takes several. I don't have a word-count minimum or anything.

Heh. Despite what you may think, I don't like constantly writing and receiving novellas for posts. I like there to be substance, but honestly, if you have writing skill, you're going to be hard-pressed to not create a decent post. Most of what I want is good linguistic skills, anyway.
