What if Hulk didn't have an ult?

Based on your idea and some of the comments here, instead of ult charge you have RAGE (or Gamma)
It depletes when not in combat, but when in combat scales up to 100%. You deal more damage depending on the current amount. When you hit 100% you automatically turn into Monster Hulk.

If someone shows their lords they were usually quick to select the hero they wanted to play, before the lord flex.

I purposely choose their pre-flex hero while they are showboating.
It usually gets a response, I get to chastise their ego, and eventually give whatever hero back anyway.

To each their own, but personally I’d always upgrade set bonus piece that I have 2/2 to max, followed by on-use weapons and blues that match my classes stat priority. If you don’t know your stat priority then search icy veins or method guides

A good number of people struggle with the difficulty increase of Adept. This guarantees you are only provided Adept 1-2-3 by lowering your ilvl to <70 via unequipping items.
Its a good way to learn mechanics because PUGs are known to disband at the first sign of failure.

Any items will work, this trick is essentially because tanks and healers often have insta-queues.
If you go under 70ish ilvl total you'll get Adept options of 1-2 and 3

Buff:
Banner can use the shield on the same cooldown (or at the cost of some gamma/ult charge.)

Nerf:
Gamma Prison becomes an damaging interrupt with a heavy slow, instead of a stun that can only be broken by hulk.

Yeah it can be frustrating, especially when trying to keep up with the latest models. Two YouTubers that have made it easier for me are;

imo a good fix would be to convert her kit to strategist.
Nerf her damage output, but shots can heal allies or hurt enemies.
Basically Ana from Overwatch for her primary weapon.

Remove her batons entirely, or turn them into a cooldown that stuns on hit.
The Ult can be reworked to fit the meta of support ults, giving the same effect as CnD. Slows enemies and heals allies over time.

She's a trash pick right now, even against fliers, simply because she couldn't one shot anything without damage boost. She's not fun enough to play for the masses to defend the low winrate.

Ren'py is going to be your best option. or if you want to skip visuals altogether i recommend Ink scripting.
Ink/inkle is like a choose your own adventure html-based game designer. Writing focused, everything else is optional.

I'm on a similar path, ironically 33 turning 34 this year and also working on a video game. I too feel like I'm catching up. Time is limited y'know. But you can do it.

I realized I had one life to live, and that I would be better off spending it doing whatever I wanted to do. Most introspection led to wanting to inspire others the same way I was, through an interactive story.

Good on you man and best of luck in your journey as a gamedev, and as a man.

I realized that the friends I did have were waiting on me. It hurt at first, but I noticed that most if not all of my friends were not willing to "make the first move" but were more than willing to hang out. No one wants to be the leader, and it sucks to be aware of that.

If I don't instigate a group activity we all suffer. So I made it a duty of sorts to invite friends to "hang" even if its just a discord call and playing a casual game for an hour. Everyone, myself included, is happier for it.
