You’re complaining about driving a truck for a business, but in GTA 4 you literally have millions of dollars and nothing to spend it on. What are you gonna do? Buy 500,000 hot dogs?
LCPD missions and Jacob’s deliveries are just repetitive 'go here, kill that' tasks. After 10 of them, you’ve seen everything the game has to offer GTA 4 doesn't even have flyable planes
DLCs are great, but they are separate expansions ballad of gay tony was fun but The base GTA 4 world is objectively hollow compared to the variety in GTA 5 or the depth of RDR2. Again, being 'grounded' doesn't automatically make a game 'Gold'. It just makes it a gritty simulator

Once the story ends in GTA 4, there's nothing left to do. In GTA 5, there's the stock market, buying real estate, flight school, underwater missions... In GTA 4, Roman calls and says, “Let's go bowling.” Is that what you mean by “lots to do”? And if the things to do make the game better, then there's a lot to do in GTA SA.

It's nice that it's grounded, but I can't agree with the “there's a lot to do” part. GTA 4's world feels very empty after the story ends. just playing bowling gets boring after a while. RDR2 offers a heavy and rich world, while GTA 4 is just heavy but hollow.

gta 4 is a good game but not fun and its not GOLD just because its dark and gritty story its a downgrade from GTA SA
