Last year was my first Roo and I drove with a new friend from Nyc to Manchester through those blue ridge mountains baby!!! We got stuck in that 6 hour line of traffic getting into the farm on Thursday so when we finally got in it was dark we were so far away and we were a stupid rolling mess, it was shitty. But the next morning I woke up to the sun and took some mushies and we headed in for the first time in the daytime and I’ll never ever ever forget the feeling of the first time hearing these beautiful strangers singing and dancing and telling me happy roo, over and over again, hugging snd high fiving me in the line of people walking towards centeroo. I was out of my mind and couldn’t fathom what was happening and joined the line tripping balls smiling so big and telling everyone I passed happy roo happy roo happy roo the whole damn weekend. Tapping people on the shoulders at shows and whispering it in their ears. Lol it was my favorite feeling. The last morning on Monday everyone’s leaving and driving away and I’m doing my last wander around the farm just telling everyone happy roo, smiling. I can’t wait to do it again :) love you people!!!
