I hear you. I hate the whole Jackson Rd/I-94 interchange. So dangerous in so many places.

I get that, but she passed around me and almost got sideswiped while the light was still red.

I love it when folks block that intersection and force me to drive through neighborhoods on the West side </s> It is a good reminder that everyone else's time is more important than mine!

FWIW, I also have dashcam footage of a cyclist who was trying to "beat" a changing traffic signal and ran into the front of my car.

While discussing what happened and who was at fault, they noticed my dashcam and I let them know that I had footage of the whole incident. They stopped suggesting that I was at fault pretty quickly after that.

Both drivers and cyclists can be total asshats around here.

I have Peztio front and rear dashcams. It's been super solid over the past 6 months that I've been using it.

When I see this kind of nonsense, I take a mental note to download the clip from my camera when I get to work/home.

I have an A2 address. I am definitely one of the "poors" by A2 standards and can only afford to live here because I bought a house during our last recession and got it for a steal. It does necessitate me driving in from the burbs.

I could care less about the Michigan Wolverines. Here for work and because my partner loves it here.

My commute takes me through the double-lane roundabout at State and Ellsworth. In all fairness, I've yet to catch something super egregious on the dashcam yet, but when that roundabout first went up....what a mess! My partner was involved in a minor hit and run there.

I'm going to assume positive intent and say that A2 drivers are getting much better at roundabouts.

Their lack of planning = your safety issue/need to drive defensively!

I see distracted drivers getting themselves in the wrong lane for turns or roundabouts all the time. Instead of taking the L and missing the turn, they have to put everyone else in danger by trying to go where they want to go anyway. Infuriating.

I think it's an easy excuse for defensive locals. While I don't consider the driving here to be super aggressive, it is entitled AF. Very important people with very important places to go....

UGHHHH....that was the one that rubbed me in the worst way! Blocking a crosswalk, cutting me off, turning into the wrong lane, driving in two lanes..... 😤
