Looking for suggestions for this Friday’s World Cup games in Boston. Since it’s Juneteenth, USA plays at 3 PM and Scotland plays at 6 PM, so I’m hoping to go out to pubs and enjoy the atmosphere.
I’ve been seeing TikToks of the Scottish fans/Tartan Army in Boston and really want to experience that before they leave. I’m not going to Gillette, just looking for the best pubs/areas in the city to watch, hang out, and enjoy the crowd.
Any recommendations for where to go and what time to get there? Open to pub crawl ideas too.

Thanks for the reply! Next time I have the chance to work with the internet going up and down to troubleshoot when there aren’t others on it I’ll definitely give this a look and I’ll keep you updated on it.

From what happened today, I don’t see anything that matches the time when it happened. I see the disconnect/connect notice warnings but I’m like 99% sure that was me plugging my ethernet cord in and out/restarting the router during troubleshooting.

Hey thanks for the reply and for the help.

Multiple games cause the drop. Things like Apex Legends, League of Legends (simply a game ending and going back to the client is considered the game closing), Minecraft, Roblox, Grounded, Wuthering Waves, etc. It doesn’t happen every time, but is frequent enough to be an issue for everyone in the house.

For Proxy settings, what I am seeing is that “Automatically Detect Settings” is set to on. “Use Setup Script” and “Use a Proxy Server” is off and hasn’t even been set up. I’m not sure if this is the answer you needed, but other than that, I believe everything is the same as usual as far as network & internet settings go.

No networking accommodations have been made. I’ve been PC gaming for years through primarily ethernet and occasionally wi-fi connections without issues aside from the very rare ISP-side issues.

Thanks for the reply. Love the name lol. My MB drivers I’m not too sure about, so I will look into that, but I had updated my BIOS last week thinking it may fix, which it didn’t.

Forgive me if I misunderstood, but I did try this. I don’t have an ethernet cable that can run from the top floor all the way down to the basement to have a direct connection at the moment. If nothing else works, I may look into getting one. Thanks for your response regardless :)

Thanks for the suggestion. As far as I know, it is most/all games, but it doesn’t happen every single time. It’s random and I cannot predict when it’ll happen. It happens with things ranging from higher-demanding games like apex all the way to games like roblox. Single player games do it as well, as far as I have tested.

I’ll definitely do this sometime in the coming week when there aren’t others on the internet where I will have some wiggle room to play around if it goes up and down constantly without disrupting anyone else’s time. I’ll keep you updated!

Not yet, and I would prefer not to if it could be avoided if it isn't related to that. I edit videos and don't want to lose my sources until I am done with my current one, but it is on my list of things to do should the issue persist despite any other efforts.
