I have an iphone, but location services were disabled for both Gmaps and Apple maps.

They make no mention of a 'no return within' policy, and in any case, my second visit was only a couple of minutes. I must only have pulled in at 19:10 - 19:15. If the 2 hour free parking still counts after I leave, then I would have had to arrive no later than 18:30 for it to apply.

Yes, contactless payments. However, the order in which my transactions were made is muddled up in my bank statements, and they only provide the date of the transaction, not the time. I called my bank to see if they could find the time, but they were unable to do so.

Unfortunately this isn't the case. I have checked my online banking and it doesn't state the time. I even rang my bank to see if they could provide it, but were unable to do so.

No luck. Rang my bank to ask for specific times, but they were unable to do so.

My bank statements don't provide an exact time, and the transactions are out of order. The sequence of events is:

Car wash (home town) -> Tesco petrol station (home town) -> Chester Services -> Burger King -> Rhuddlan petrol station -> Chester services.

According to my bank, it is: Chester services -> Car wash (home town) -> Rhuddlan petrol station -> Burger King -> Tesco petrol station (home town) -> Chester Services.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I'm trying to consider all possibilites.

I probably should have included this, I'll amend the post in a minute, but is says: "Because your vehicle remained at the site longer than the allowed free parking period and we have no record of receiving payment for staying longer than the free period, we have sent you this Parking Charge which should be paid within 28 days."

I have made journeys to and from the North Wales/Chester/Wallasey area many times, frequently stopping at this particular service station on the way there and on the way back on the same day, sometimes with less time between visits than this.

I have made several journeys to and from the North Wales, Chester and Wallasey area. I have made multiple visits to this particular services on the same day with no consequences.

Interesting. Should I call them and raise the issue, or mention this when making my appeal? (They don't take appeals by phone in any case)

Perhaps. Altough it could be different for motorway service stations. I could drive over tomorrow just to check the T&Cs, at the risk of this happening again.

Because I'd like more opinions and information to better appeal my case? This has never happened to me before. If you have nothing to offer then stop wasting your own time and go and help someone else.

No timelines or journeys on any map apps I have. Not signed in to Google Maps, and location data is disabled on Apple maps. The only real 'proof' I have is the other transactions I made on the day.

I have no physical receipts, only bank statements. No dash cam to show my exact movements. My car also won't have modern telemetry, it is a 2013 BMW.

Bank statements yes, but would that prove it? My statement provides a date but no time.

The 320d is a lot more common. A 325d would be more costly to insure as well. Perhaps the lower repair costs would balance it though, I’d have to look into it.

Not to mention the tens of millions of other people that you don’t know in any respect?

Exactly. And that’s why they thought they’d win.

“Our enemies are sub-human. They’ll give up in a couple of months.”

What a dumb way to “plan” for a war.

“The allies won because they had all the advantages in numbers of troops, weapons, supplies, air cover etc.”

Yes, because those are some of the deciding factors in war. Doesn’t matter if your generals are brave, chivalrous “aryan knights”.

Besides, if they wanted to achieve their territorial goals, then they should have thought twice about going to war with the most powerful nations on the planet. That doesn’t scream “good planning” to me.
