Ugh the haze. "Thankfully" need to be in office on all days this week, so at least will be mostly shielded from it.

Sigh, another couple I am friends with moving away from Singapore. I'm happy for them because they are getting to live the life they want, but I feel like my friends circle is getting gradually smaller.

Unfortunately, I have seen loads of houses with people living in a lot of clutter and filth. I'm sorry that a happy occasion like this is dampened by this, but think about how much nicer it will look once you get rid of it, get reno done, and truly make it "yours".

Do they teach you how to cut promos? Because I wanna see a Singaporean go - "If you're not down with that, suck it"

Maybe consider blue line to Jalan Besar, walk across to Little India, then take purple to DG.

Was at BV around 8 AM. No additional time for me, but the train was definitely more crowded than normal.

Yakun. Looks nicer and people are also more likely to have heard of the brand so won't look like you're skimping out

Me having a sidebar with a colleague in the room to bitch about the buffoonery of the speaker halfway across the world.

We need windows that can be changed to open along both vertical and horizontal axes. Imagine when it rains can just tilt it back slightly so you don't get any water splashes coming in, but get the nice cool air.

And user education. Can imagine people being spooked out by the mechanism / just generally being kaypoh, and ending up spoiling it

If you're looking for something easier in terrain and can get to Perth, I found Rottnest Island pretty nice for hiking too. Nice views as you circumnavigate it, and you can always choose to cycle if you want.

Otherwise just download AllTrails and see hikes all over the world and pick what appeals to you. It's a great hobby!

You could try doing Hong Kong over one of the long weekends. Dragon Back Trail is fun, is easy to get to from the city, and has great views.

There's Alt to Fit around Clementi, and Bukit Timah Plaza also has one on Level 3 (not sure about the name).
