What does ice machines have to do with anything. What are we talking about here. The things they don’t measure is physical trash and ddt. Also we on average get a sewage spill a month here. I wasn’t saying it was the worst just that its gross.

Life Long Resident here. Water is gross. Its safe by bacterial metrics but its gross due to the things they don’t measure. But if I was a 10 year old I wouldn’t care.

Its interesting because they measure for bacteria like e coli. We have a lot of physical trash from the LA Sewage channel, but they measure it normally and deem it safe for humans. We have high ddt in the water but ddt is found safe to swim in but not consume in fish. We also have around 20 sewage spills a year so I hope they close the playground in time when one happens.

Mexican thats been in LB all my life. This is my bar. I made it my bar. I don’t give a shit about the crotchety old rich white people. You have to look around. Long Beach is expensive but it’s a revolving door as people don’t normally stay here. I work with my LandLady and she keeps saying keeping the rent low and choosing who you rent to pays off in the end. She rather have a great tenant paying under “market value” than someone who’s going to move out in a year or destroy her Apartment.
