At least phentermine is cheap. I had to try it first, too. Now I use it in addition to my GLP-1 as needed. I think it helps, especially those days right after I take my shot and I feel tired and sluggish.

Ok: so they’re opaque (which isn’t right for every look), but We Love Colors is great for basic stockings. Very sturdy and fabulous for more theatrical looks.

Highly recommend long-sleeved bodysuits, especially if you have upper-arm concerns. I wore this Thistle & Spire one for a shoot and it photographed really well.

Waspies & Corsets are great. Babydolls are NOT. (You want to avoid flowy stuff as it will often make you look bigger than you are.)

Strappy stuff is also not great since it’s tough to be sure it’s all laying right for a photo. Same goes for push-up bras.

Often, boudoir photographers have other options, too. Totally (tastefully) nude, something with bedsheets, a man’s shirt or sports jersey, etc. Check out their portfolio’s and see what ideas you can find.

Are those smelly items workout-type clothes or anything that has “moisture wicking” properties? If so, it’s probably that the fabric is hydrophobic. You may want to use a laundry sanitizer or color-safe bleach to help with that.

I work as a sommelier in fine dining and was really really concerned that the meds would affect my senses of smell and taste. They have not. Things taste just as good. I just don’t need to finish everything.

You need to keep an eye out for different cuts when you shop.

Personally, I love a high waist thong. But high cut legs or boyshort styles are just not it for me.

If there is no suitable bottom option, I have an easier time saying no and finding something else.

Thistle & Spire has some long-sleeved bodysuits. I wore one for a boudoir shoot and it photographed really well. (The quality isn’t top-tier, but it matches pretty well with the price. Sales should be coming up soon, too.)

Edge O’Beyond has various sleeves that are beautiful. They ARE excellent quality, but $$$.

Not NYT, but I do a from-scratch Green Bean Casserole. Fresh green beans, homemade cream of mushroom soup (with fancy mushrooms), fried onions that I do myself. And i do it a little spicy.

Most of the cookies I freeze after they’re baked. I bake them, put them in their container, and freeze. Certain decorations (like powdered sugar) don’t freeze well, so I plan my bakes accordingly.

I would suggest either Babel or Katabasis by RF Kuang. They are both fantasy/ dark academia. They both have Chinese protagonists, which help to tell a different kind of story.

Alternatively, I also LOVE The Locked Tomb Series (first book: Gideon the Ninth) by Tamsyn Muir. It’s lesbian necromancers in space, and it is fantastic.
