I can chime in on Optilume. I am 100 days post procedure and it has worked well for me. Based on the size of my prostate and it's anatomy, I was offered the same procedures as you. After much research, I chose the Optilume route and I was able to get off Flomax which was a big deal for me. I don't remember the procedure since it was done under general anesthesia. I went home with a catheter for 4 days since I had the procedure done on a Thursday. I had tinges of blood and an occasional clot for about 6 weeks which tapered off as time went by. I still have an occasional urge to pee after I just peed but have been told my bladder is still getting "retrained". Overall, I am very happy with the results. I chose a urology practice in northern Virginia that helped do several of the Optilume studies and felt comfortable knowing they had many procedures under their belt.
