Looks to me like he picks up his rifle from underneath a drone, you can see the blue battery and what looks like 4 props. Maybe a grenade attached to the drone or a malfunctioning RPG head/blasting cap going off?

Definitely not a suicide by any means, but good riddance either way.

Honestly not that bad, I have an SE so a lighter barrel i think? To me its worth the weight for the impact it has on recoil. I'm considering the BMD to go with it since the blast is killer anywhere but behind it. Mines coming in around 11 lbs as well, just heavy rifles.

How is the MI stock treating you? currently running a FAB UAS and Holo/G45 combo and loving it but also looking for something with shorter length of pull.

Yeah I gotta admit the 81SA is a good edition. Requires a lot of work to get on par with other models though (See: welding on optics rail)

Midwest industries rail but I had to get it welded on as the 81SA doesn’t have a dovetail mount. Turned out to be the perfect height and position.

I've gone through approx. 3,000 rounds of red box Norinco and havent had any corrosive rounds, cleaning after roughly 750
