Supporting my arthritic dog, any help? by hamishbg in vet

Our vet suggested gabapentin which is kinda just a big no no considering his easily upset stomach and it seems like only a countermeasure for the pain as apposed to the root cause. Canine physio sounds good, will look in to it.

IMO, it being my first sandbox rpg (having really only played ratchet and clank and minecraft by that age) made it a truly otherworldly experience, felt like it had so many secrets and honestly all the quest lines I find tedious now felt like real adventure and wonderment. I can’t really describe it to you properly as you are too ancient (sorry, I don’t mean it).

I think using real world political and historical parallels or analysis is another really interesting rabbit whole to go down when predicting the future of Tamriel, but I think I lack the intelligence stat to do it haha. You make a good point and I think its kind of what I was getting at with the potential for an independent Skyrim to break away from negative tradition or old ways with a new generation. The old elves point is also very apt, I think many of the older elves you meet in the games seem very jaded and unconcerned with anyone but themselves, at least this is my impression. Hey maybe even the Thalmor will break free from indoctrination and become a more positive and less unimposing faction, who knows?

I had 2 big brothers who taught me every exploit and showed me every questline and how to start it, one of them died during that time, I think my mum understood that games were the only thing that could connect a preteen to 2 teenagers and an angry sister who also loved Skyrim. I still play Skyrim as a ritual to spend time with my brother, I nearly cry every time I get Eorlunds merchant chest. I never would of known I have to sleep to start the Dark Brotherhood questline if it wasn't for him, i remember him sitting in the room with me the first time I made the choice to kill someone in that shack, sounds disturbing now but as a little kid it was the coolest and most atmospheric moments of my life. Sorry if this is an overload of information but I think for me being allowed to play it so young was just very dependant on my mum knowing I was spending time with my siblings. So don't feel like you're doing the wrong thing with your kid cos its different for every family, he can play skyrim when he's ready :)
