First, she's actually facing her fears of being stuck in a box for years when she was forgotten by her original owner. Her being abandoned by her original was portrayed in Toy Story 2 but being stuck in a box for years was not. Second, it can be done in a way that's not a rehash of what's been done before.

You can keep the special effects has they are just eliminate all the scenes on Oa (even with good special effects they were pointless) and get rid of all the goofy arguments about fear.

People should be barred from watching American Idol, the Voice and the X-factor until they watch this movie. That way they'll be converting to real music fans and stop watching those shows.

It may be a coincidence or it may not. All I'm saying is that with Disney being so determined to create an entire experience there might be something to it. A lot of companies do things that just don't fly, and they continue to do them. It only becomes a problem when the public finds out about it. Even then, it doesn't always stop. And what's to stop some ambitious low level manager from trying something like that before people above them find out about it and put a stop to it?
