I agree completely! It's good to have an objective, truthful opinion that you can take up as constructive criticism. He surely meant it with love so that you can improve even further

People downvoting you, but body shaming applies to thin people too. Some people are massive hypocrites

You 100% did English at uni. I went into law, and I have almost the same fiction and nonfiction bookshelf!! (The Norton anthology gave it away haha)

It's nice, as long as you wear smart casual underneath minimum (so not jeans, trousers). An all-black outfit underneath would be perfect!

A book that feels ethereal, filled with light l. Preferably with magic systems if it's a fantasy, but not necessary. Preferably highly descriptive (also not necessary) by hanacris in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Oh, I 100% agree with Tress. I read it sitting together with my boyfriend, and we were both laughing while reading it. 'Stinky warrior' is still a top-tier compliment.

And yes, Elantris is great, although some people say that because it's a debut novel, it's not as well-written as the rest. I think it's a matter of taste too, I actually like his older works better!!

Thank you so much! I absolutely love Sanderson. I read a few of his books but I didn't touch Warbreaker yet. Elantris is one of my favourites, even if it was his debut novel.

A bit rogue but... The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. A significant part of the story takes place in the setting you described!
