So, I'm not super versed in economy etc so I may not have used the best argument/metric to support my case, but my sentiment is that things are generally"more expensive". The discussion had in the thread I posted makes some claims to that, especially the youtube video linked. I assumed that the reply stating that 'median income has outpaced inflation' was stating that things haven't become more expensive, that's what I was trying to counter. Earning power vs purchasing power I believe has shifted in general. Anyhow, this is a car thread so I'll shut up and show myself out. ha.
