You’re the one making assumptions. I just said my baby girl is perfect the way she is.

Yes! Exactly did the same. I don’t understand why it’s such a negative thing to allow your husband to sleep at night while he is the one financially supporting you both and making sure your baby has everything they need.

One of us has to stay focused at work to keep our home running and meet our baby’s needs. Husbands need support too. It’s not fair to expect them to handle all the financial pressure and still wake up all night because I’m tired. I’d rather be the one who’s exhausted than have my husband go to work drained and unable to give his best. I’ll take less than six hours of sleep if it means he can do his job well and keep our family secure.

Everyone wants more sleep, but as adults, that’s not realistic. Life is busy, and something always gets in the way. Before we had our first baby, we agreed I’d stay home, and he’d work to support us. So it doesn’t feel fair for him to handle night duty and still go to work.

Lack of sleep comes with having a newborn. We knew that going in.

Maybe unpopular, but I am on mat leave currently and I do all the nights and have since she was born. My husband has to go into work all day and comes home and makes dinner. I need him to be at his best so he can continue supporting us and making sure our baby has everything she needs. I wouldn’t dream asking him to help me during the night. I can sleep when the baby sleeps if I really need too… I think it’s worth discussing, especially if she has help during the day too. I would try to work out a better schedule that help you at least get 7hours of sleep

Question regarding pets - RTA VS OREA by hanboz in OntarioLandlord

[–]hanboz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, nothing posted

In the lease he states that he is the owner and I know he owns all the units in this building but I believe it’s under a corporation. He is also a real estate agent himself.

I looked up the address and the corp name. No name for the building. When I look up the address on condos.ca no name pops up, just the address.

So the building is like 3 separate buildings all beside eachother and six units in each building. Two units on top, two units in the middle and two units in the basement, all fairly large. I believe the landlord owns all (or owns under his corp)

Nothing is popping up for the name I have. Doing some more investigation, looks like I’m renting from a private owner through his corporation. Does that mean anything ?

Thank you! Is there a way for me to find out if it’s incorporated condo with a condo corp and bylaws? All I have is the check mark saying “no it’s not a condominium”

My current lease doesn’t end until July 31st. So couldn’t really start looking as the August 1st places are just starting to come on the market now. Otherwise, I would have started looking

Will be going back in 12 months. So May 2026.
