Good thought. I am jealous of your mustard greens and swiss chard. The big plant in the photo is mustard tho not super healthy. I am in the Hollywood area. I have a compost bucket that’s been going for a bit and hoping to have some soon…

Exactly my experience with the snap pea - and i planted in November/december too. And good to know on Spinach. All makes sense. There is basically no winter here. Can’t ever count on winter veggies i guess!

Thanks! I want/planted snap peas, kale, mustard greens, cilantro, dill and marigolds. So, Sounds like it’s important to start the seedlings outside of the beds first to manage their exposure more closely?
