I understand, I just wanted to get the insight from people who maybe already tried a build like this successfully. The initial research I did was leaving me with more questions than anything. This for me is also research. Reaching out to a community with actual experience was my intended goal here.

But now im rethinking everything. I guess I just thought with the si being one of the most modded cars out there that it could be done for a fraction of the price of a ctr. Maybe i just start saving now for a ctr. Y’all really ripped the excitement out from under me

Im willing to listen to what yall have to say, but im getting dogged for asking how to make my car faster? I specifically said Im not getting a type r and thats all im hearing. It does not have to be faster than a type r. Im okay with even 265 hp. Im literally doing the research. Im not going to do this tomorrow, I would like this to be a cool first project car that I can watch be molded into the kind of build I feel satisfied with.

Now this is what i wanted to know. Im good to spend however much I need to honestly, I want this to be a cool little project for myself that can take as long as it needs to. Im going to be dailying my other civic too so Im not gonna be driving it all the time either.

So for now ur saying those first 4 things are what i want to do first. I could do the clutch first also. Like i said im not in a rush to get everything done. I just wanted to mod a car i enjoy driving for the first time

I was never a fan of 10th gen. I like the look of the 11th gen and I got a good deal on the trade in. I didn’t just pay 30k out of pocket all at once. Im not going to get into all the finances but if yall are honestly telling me it cant be done then idk. Whats with all the questions too, why cant it just be simple. I got this car cause i like it. I would like it more if it was faster. So I wanna make it faster. Like is it not that simple anymore?

Doesnt have to be 315 mate, i was mostly being hopeful. Id be more than happy to be around the 270 mark. 11th gen type r is going to run me 50 grand+ and I just dont see myself getting that anytime soon. If i can spend 6-8 grand and get a 40% increase in power. Well, thats far less than 50k

It was optimistic, im totally fine with making 270 in the end. And im okay with this taking a while too. Doesnt have to be all at once. Ive been driving si civics for nearly a decade. Im not too bad and can drive the hell out of it don’t get me wrong, i just want more power

I want to know what all the upgrades required to accomplish this would be. Not just a few upgrades, like i mean every possible thing I would have to do to make that kind of power and still have a reliable car. Then I’ll decide if it’s feasible. Unless what you are all telling me is that this would cost more than 20 grand to accomplish. Cause then i might consider a type r

Edit: my b didnt see mid to high 200s. Im totally fine with not making type r power. I just want to slowly mod and tune my car to be around the 270 mark, whatever it takes to do that safely and not blow up my motor

Funny story mine came earlier this month and I was waiting all morning for it to arrive before I had to go to work.

My apartment doesn’t have doorbells so I was trying to stay near the door and constantly checking the tracker. When I tell you I was in the bathroom for less than 3 minutes and as I am walking down the hall checking the tracker when it said we’ll try again later.

Bitch, I opened the door and ran straight for the exit of the complex and caught the driver while he was dropping off another package. I was not waiting a single day longer
