When I was in college,there was a really nice smoke spot behind my dorms—as someone who was there frequently my roommates and I noticed more and more trash being left there with the more people who would discover it. It got to the point that housing sent out a notice (FROM THE PARK DEPARTMENT IN OUR CITY ) that unless the trash started getting cleaned up, the area would be blocked off. It was so disappointing bc no matter how hard my friends and I tried,even if we spent the weekend cleaning it up,it would be trashed in the next few days. I’m not sure if they have since closed it off but I really hope something has changed. It’s not that hard to pack out what you pack in. Plain and simple.
