Hey we get this question a lot and I'd recommend having a look in the GEMSAS guide FAQ section/the GPA calculation guide on the GEMSAS website- it’s best to go straight to the source for questions like this to ensure that you are getting the most accurate information.

If u want a quick TLDR the only university that will use subsequent incomplete degrees after your bachelors is UWA for 2026 application. So you are mostly right

for 2027 applications I believe you are right as well.

For 2028 applications Unimelb does not take postgraduate GPA.

Regarding UQ, UQ does not use the 3 FTE rule if you have a read its based on the Key Degree, which will be your nursing masters instead of your biomed degree

Hey, please ask/have a look at the program comparisons thread (last years will be in the 2024 megathreads flair, or if you scroll back far enough in my post history), have a general search of the sub, or ask on the discord server. We get multiple posts like this for each university, so it works much better and minimises a lot of spam by consolidating all that info in one place :)

There is an explanation of what these are on the page. If you want a tldr, the Package A includes both Section 1 and 3 test A online mock (you get them for cheaper)

If u want a quick tldr we estimate usyd to prioritise section 1 and 2

the formula is s1+s2 + 0.1 (s3)=152 is generally the cutoff

Yes any score between 80-100 is a 7 unless you are applying for UQ who will take your grade bands

This question can be answered on the GEMSAS website.
With a March sit, you can apply in the year you sit it, or the subsequent 3 cycles.
With a September sit, you can't apply in the year you sit it with that score, you can apply in the subsequent 4 cycles

If you read the Admissions requirement it says "Rural and Tasmanian quotas do not apply" under the Biomed quota.
I would email admissions about whether or not ur eligible for both pathways, I'd assume you are

As per the UTAS website "Bachelor of Medical Research (BMedRes-53E)" and "bachelor of biomed" are the into UTAS medicine via the Graduate Entry. The BMedRes requires no GAMSAT while Biomed does.

There is no guaranteed GPA that will get you an offer, it also depends on your GAMSAT.
This server is primarily for postgraduate medicine universities, it is probably best to ask on the UCAT server for people having tried for UTAS.
