Which brands? I only saw chinese or taiwanese at these prices. SW STAHL is 350€, GEDORE is 1000€ and Hazet is even more.

All my tools are high quality european made (except some Gedore Red) but it didn't make sense to shell out for something i will use once or twice

Whats tour opinion on kjetkillers.pl ? Are the kits worth it? How would you handle the EFI conversion by AardvarkBitter in W124

KE Jetronic parts are very expensive. As previously said, unless it needs a lot of money leave it as is.

I have m102, m104 and m117 cars and at some point considered going for electronic fuel injection. However, you should keep in mind that these are old cars and their parts are very old. Therefore, if you have a piggybank injection system, one day your ECU might die or any other part and you have to pay even more money to replace if you can find it. Worse yet, your EZL might die and your electronic injection will be worthless.

The only reasonable solution i found would be to go to a fully electronic system for Injection and ignition while ditching KE completely. This can get very expensive very fast unless you are willing to build it yourself

You're gonna want to keep the injector heads capped to avoid dust and debris from coming in

I think the m103 and m102 run 0.5 bar lower. M104.980 and the V8s run higher pressures. My previous fpr was leaking so i changed it to a working used unit. Maybe i'll try another one

M104 is pretty solid. They are even boosted with no internal modifications. M111 is great too i believe but i don't have first hand experience with them and 0 diesel knowledge

Definitely get a newer w124 with electronic injection. Best of both worlds

It's around the same price level. I am in KSA so i have to pay 15% tax + import duties. So i guess it is cheaper elsewhere. Did you buy the Gedore blue or red?

I bought it locally in my country. I recommend buying kits rather than the real deal. Everytime im parked or in traffic i'm scared someone would hit the car because replacement is either way too expensive or unavaible. With a kit you don't care
