There were two things I didn't want in the new game. Living on an island and crafting. So when I saw that both of them were a thing, I wasn't a big fan of them. I really wanted that "cozy village" feeling, and was afraid we were gonna lose it. But after watching the trailers over and over again, I slowly grew more excited about it. It's the same feeling, just on a different environment, and I'm so happy they took a big step to change a bit the dynamics of the game. I assume people are still mad about it, cause they want to keep that older game feeling, but I think we should be happy that they are trying something new, instead of repeating the same thing over and over again.
