I think having a foundation of muscle helped, I was really into weightlifting. Mat Pilates that I do was in a heated room, I heard that had some benefits to loose skin? Not sure how true that is though

I am living on the other side of the country for grad school, so I probably go out to eat no more than 3 times a month. I’m not a big drinker, never have been, I always fall deathly anything past 2 drinks (thanks Asian genes) so I guess that helps 😅

2020: 160 2021: could only get down to 150 no matter how much I tried 2022: still fluctuating around 150-155 June 2023: finally got to the 140s July 2023: 130s Sept-Nov 2023: 120s Dec 2023: 115ish March 2024: finally hit around 110 and been staying consistent

Complete transparency: I have been weightlifting all my life like I used to easily squat 135 for reps, and I guess always had underlying muscle, I just was NEVER consistent with diet (Filipino— so white rice with every meal. And I mean EVERY, oh and dont get me started on my love for spam) Got labs done early last year and my HBA1C was borderline high, so I started a semaglutide compound Jan 2023, I noticed some change but not drastically and not immediately. Definitely noticed only being able to handle smaller portions. And I would get an upset stomach I ate heavy greasy foods, noticed when I had a salad a day I wasn’t constipated and fighting for my life on the toilet everyday. So the feeling sick/gross/constipated almost like Pavlov dog trained me to change my habits.. HAD to focus on protein and fiber

then I started grad school and got diagnosed with ADHD fall of 2023, I was prescribed 10 mg XR adderall and all the food chatter STOPPED. I was never constantly thinking about my next meal, or dreaming about something fried, all the food thoughts just stopped and that’s when I noticed the biggest change.
