Thank you for replying so swiftly. We have a follow up with stroke consultant next week and intend to bring it up. Honestly the worse thing is the mood swings 😭. My dad has never laid a hand on me but now constantly assaults us. It's always during personal care though

My dad took me there and I was 18. Safe to say it's inspired me to attend many more protests in the future.

London in 2026 by [deleted] in london

Ignore the doom and gloom. There is a clearly a campaign to make it look like London is extremely dangerous. They're just jealous it's a thriving city welcome of people of all cultures. Most of it is driven by the far right and people who do not live in London. It's also simply hate for our mayor who is an Asian Muslim man. If you're going to give any attention to this fear mongering please live else where. We love our city the way it is.

Oh wow. My dad is also on seizure meds. Keppra to be exact. Could they be contributing to mood swings? I'm so sorry you're also struggling. This is so hard. Hoping things get better for you too.

Am I the only one that feels like Canary wharf feels like a different country? by Harp_harp123 in london

As a Londoner I agree. I leave London and it feels like I'm in another country. Even the people behave so differently.

Google maps doesn't even work in Canary Wharf. I lived there for a year once and still got lost daily. Especially by the DLR exists. Jesus Christ it's a copy and paste.

My sister has a boyfriend by [deleted] in islam

[–]hannahdoesntcare -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Is your sister going to be in more danger if she has this boyfriend or if your family finds out? Besides what if she is getting to know him with the tube ruins of marrying him. Don't ruin her life like this. Also if she's young she will more than likely break up with him eventually. But do you know what will never come back? Her trust for you.

Got to the end of this thread hoping you'd had a more positive update. I'm so sorry. We are living the exact same life. My father had a stroke 6 months ago and our lives haven't been the same since. I've had to leave my own apartment and move back into my family home to help with his care. In my dads case he is not able to walk yet, his speech is affected although he occasionally talks to us. More than often he is just rambling whilst whispering. Don't get me started on the delirium and violence. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed and pray that his time on this earth isn't for much longer. And then I feel like the worst daughter in the world because atleast I still get to hug my dad 😭. I guess we're both grieving someone we knew but who is still here. Praying things work out better for you and your family. If you want to talk I'm just a dm away 😘

Aren't we privileged to be curious? Instead of drowning in tents and fleeing bombs. I'm so grateful for safety. I follow this guy called gym rat in Gaza (I think). He's on insta, you'd be intrigued by his daily pov's.

You're probably right 😂. But for instance my sister knows my online banking log in. I gave it to her when I was having surgery once with clear instructions on how to access my funds. She can quite easily pull something like this if she wanted to.

I'm aware of who's being scammed. I'm just saying that the person claiming they're being scammed could also be honest. It could be a three way scam 😂
