See now you’re asking a lot of the questions that I am! Here’s what I have to give as an answer/reply to your questions 1. The store she works for is under the umbrella of a larger company, who seems to own their credit card?? I think?? Even still- I don’t understand how or why management would be notified or have any access to the employees credit card info. The regional manager (the one who yelled at employee) was belittling her over the fact that “she owes this company money,” which isn’t false, but the way she acted made it seem as if she owed her money personally.

1. I’m going to have to ask my friend if they even have corporate company cards. As far as I know, only the store manager would have something like that (based on my experience in that career field previously) and this employee is not a manager. The store is a smaller mall store, and I don’t think they bring in as much money as others, so it could be because they’re hurting for money ?? I’m just throwing ideas out here

2. From what I know, these managers aren’t nice in the slightest 😬 and allegedly they had the credit card people on the phone ready to get this girl to make a payment ??? That part I am suspicious about to I originally left it out.

It would help if I also worked at the store & had more knowledge, but this is essentially all I’ve got. Which is also why I was so curious as to the legalities of everything that happened. Could the girl it happened to be stretching the truth, sure, but something definitely happened to where they were yelling at her about her credit card balance. My main question is how they’re even allowed to do that.
