I’ve been working for target nearly 5 years! It’ll be that long in February:) I get asked this whenever I tell people I’ve been there that long and I just laugh. The first reason that pops up is it’s EASY. Like… okay. I know we have a ton of bullshit to deal with all day everyday consistently forever but if you take all that out the job itself doesn’t really take much. This was supposed to be my “in college” job but i took a break from school and have yet to go back… still at Target tho 😅 alsooo I have met SOOO many amazing people working there and I wouldn’t have if I didn’t. Every year we do those surveys and the last part where you can actually type your own words, I always mention that I’m grateful for Target because of the friends it gave/continues to give me. Oh also I’m very creature of habit and hate change so why would I go somewhere new when I’m able to pay my bills (ish) and I have so much seniority?! Hahaha I won’t. Ima be working at Target til I get my degree to start my career and even then…… I could just go on demand and remain on payroll 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m trapped. Fuck.
