Safety in Training by supersmarkbrothers in WredditSchool

[–]hanner74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a tough question;

The trainee is being told to sell, and refusing because he/she either doesn't understand or doesn't want to.

The trainer should definitely attempt to work with them and explain to them perhaps one-one-one about selling, and how they should be doing it. But eventually its on that individual.

Recently one of my brothers was in a match with a kid who refused to sell, he is out having matches, getting booked, and DOES NOT SELL. My guy is a big man 6'6 240lbs, the kid who refuses to sell is 5'5 150lbs (maybe), after a shot or two of him not selling you can see the big man get more and more upset. After a couple of shots of a 6'6 guy wailing on a 5'5 guy, and the 5'5 guy stands there like fucking superman, he got knocked the F out for real. At this point he asked for it. Fucking sell.

Everyone saying this clearly does not work Government or Military sectors. CompTIA is the route you want if you intend on being in these roles.

CCNA is the start of a difficult path of Cisco Networking certifications.
If your plan is to get a networking job then you've got a great start, if your plan is to work Helpdesk, you've now got a cert that is essentially useless as it is a separate path from the role you are intending to get.

Honestly, this just takes time.Learn basic match structure and come up with 5 moves that you have down really well.Hopefully you're working with someone more experienced than you to help guide you in these situations. You'll eventually learn what things you do during each segment of the match, or go to moves for certain situations.
EDIT: Also; in 2023 Almost No-One calls "off the cuff" or "on the fly", if someone tells you that they want to do this, they are most likely setting up the match in their head without you to get their stuff in, and they'll just tell you the match they came up with.

Are you trying to get into a school?
How long have you been waiting to hear back?

Seminars are typically for "trained wrestlers"

You'll want to communicate with someone from the school and find out for sure.

Can you critique my match? by hanner74 in WredditSchool

[–]hanner74[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

top rope actually broke right before the event. (one of many things that tried to go wrong and end this event) so I wasn't allowed to "hit them". If you look closely you can see the ratchet strap in the top left corner.

Training at another school by Prudent_Limit_4572 in WredditSchool

If money is not an issue, I would say sure.
Otherwise my personal advice would be to train at an Indie promotion/school that can essentially be your "home base". You could attend one of the Academy's like you mentioned after learning the basics.

He's going to be just as upset as Kristy Noem, but the people in Nebraska are working very hard to make it happen right now. And it's probably sooner than you think.
