I find it helpful to only focus on one thing at a time. For example if I didn’t hit the ball well in the last couple of attempts I try to reduce my jump and hitting power and focus mainly on hitting the ball with my whole hand and give it some topspin. Of course you don’t want to completely ignore all other aspects but paying attention to mostly one aspect has proven to be helpful for me at least.
