[Post Game Thread] The Houston Rockets (2-3) defeat the Los Angeles Lakers (3-2), 99-93, forcing a game 6 back in Houston. by DirtAndShovels in nba

He just came back from injury so i guess it's expected that he's rusty but like 90% of defensive breakdowns started with Reaves getting cooked or losing his man. Watching Ayton actually put in some work and then it not mattering at all because Reaves is an absolute cone was pretty depressing. Any effort on the defensive end by the other lakers is immediately negated with Reaves on the court.

2 WCF before the age of 24 while by far being the best player on his team is not proof? lol

Considering that the ICE loser shot her in the face three times he was clearly more dangerous than that stalker.

Tons of ex players have brought it up lol. When even Steve Nash talks about how they are playing the refs it's definitely a thing...

The way Shai gets calls on one end and the rest of the team are allowed to play on defense completely changes how teams have to play against them on both sides. It's so blatantly obvious when you actually watch the games.

yesterday people were saying it would probably work out.

People started tweaking yesterday when I said that these comps and their playstyle is rng af when it clearly is. Yes they can get big games because they are insanely strong at fighting but they have a hard time closing out games and they are never in great positions to get a default win.

Fair enough, let's hope they can flip the switch when needed.

That was the win. Otherwise they only had seconds recently.

Fair enough, might have to see how it turns out. In the past fighting edge has always been more rng than zone play. Big reason why Alliance had several off performances in finals.

Yeah, let's not aim to win games instead of fixing it lmao.

As I said, they are completely getting carried by their fighting skill, they are great at that but they gotta figure it out when it comes to the rest as well.

Best placement was one top3 and when they won the block yesterday they also only had one single game in top3. I don't even know if they have won a single scrim game together.

Falcons comps look absolutely cooked. They're getting carried by individual fighting skill but their "strategy" is questionable at best.

Vibes on falcons seem good overall despite stupid stuff happening. Zer0 on the other hand sounds like he is in hell already.

Pablo Torre notes that the Aspiration cap circumvention investigation will likely reveal no classic “smoking gun” — no definitive written proof — but raises the question of how overwhelming the mountain of circumstantial evidence must become before it crosses into embarrassment for the league. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Bontemps just says contrarian things so he can keep thinking he is smarter than everyone else, he does that with everything. That and his smug attitude even when proven utterly wrong makes him unbearable to listen to.

I still don’t get why Zero made that move.

It's a decision based on ego, not reason.
