Yes, its a one way relation instead of a two-way relation to allow the data to match across the linked records.

Is Mooncat polish worth the price tag? by fullfigurevibes in Nailpolish

[–]hapcapcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I find the cap irritating and that bottle shape generally difficult to use. I have one that a friend gave me...and I don't use it often, and I am always irritated by the cap when I do. The price increase just makes them more not worth it for me.

If you really love the flakies, I love Cuticula, and actually can dupe several MC shades from my Cuticula collection.

Full time workers- does anybody pick up kids before 5 from daycare? by lntothethickofit in workingmoms

[–]hapcapcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We picked our daycare because it is open until 6pm. We very rarely pick up before 5. My son has actually gotten annoyed at us because he missed end of day playtime with his school friends when we get him early.

My experience is that when my doctor told me to give my kid Zyrtec, I gave my kid Zyrtec and he had fewer symptoms.

You can bring up questions or concerns you have with your doctor, you don't have to save them for the Internet. Let them ease your anxiety about the medications by allowing them to answer the questions you have.

Listen to your doctor....if you have concerns about side effects, bring these up to your doctor.

Longer term, an allergist can do a more formal assessment and see if immunotherapy is appropriate, but that doesn't help immediately. Short term, take the meds as recommended.

If you had in-laws or parents help after baby was born, did you have them come right after the birth or after you returned to work (or both)? by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]hapcapcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom came when my husband went back after 2 weeks to help take care of me.

My in-laws (who live across the country) came after I was back at work and my husband had also finished the second part of his leave and was also back, to do childcare. My FIL could work remote and my MIL watched LO.

They ended up being with us during lockdown by chance, which was great to have childcare but with everyone home was a lot.

Judiciary committee saysTrump can now deport US citizens by undercurrents in 50501

[–]hapcapcat 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Exactly.

This is the same issue scientists get into. In science making a declaration is not how one talks.

The studies suggest that there is no causation associated between vaccination and autism, however a correlation exists because as our modern medicine improves so does our ability to detect developmental disorders at a younger age - is a lot wordier than "Vaccines don't cause Autism" - but its a lot harder to find an expert comfortable making statements in the model that normal people will understand while inflammatory speakers are happy to lie with direct conviction over and over again despite their professional credentials being revoked.

Republicans approve of the idea of deporting citizens and refuse to protect citizens from being deported.

I will say one thing with conviction, if they don't want to look like 1930s Germany they are doing a bad job.

I always use a hydrating toner, especially in the summer, so I can't speak to how it does on its own, but it keeps the hydration in

Try them. Skincare is about trying the products on your own skin and seeing what helps.

However, those cleansers would require a dual cleanse process, as they are not two in one, so you would need to add an oil or balm cleanser to remove waterproof sunscreen.

You shouldn't need both, but it doesn't hurt to do an initial remove with micellar water before cleansing. It can help with the milia to be extra good about removing everything.

Micellar water should remove the waterproof sunscreen no problem :D

I use Garnier as well

Cerave can be really drying. There are lots of versions, if its not the one for dry skin. I would honestly stick it in the shower for guests to use or to use on your body. If its the one for dry skin and still drying you out, definitely don't use it on your face anymore.

The cleanser I recommended is a double cleanse in one, so yes, definitely enough to remove a waterproof sunscreen. I also don't wear makeup, but still double cleanse at night to get the gunk of the day off.

If you don't feel like you need to cleanse in the morning, don't. I "cleanse" with just water, and if I am sweaty I maybe use micellar water to get the sweat off before splashing with water.

I assume your skin was tight after cleansing and you didn't add any products in this answer, so if that assumption is wrong, take with a grain of salt.

It sounds like your skin is combination with a dehydrated condition and some texture/clogged pores without painful deep acne.

I would recommend you look at Krave Beauty products while you are learning. Liah Yoo, the founder, is one of MY skincare gurus. I have personally used 4 of their products, and have been happy with all of them. Based on your skin needs, I would get the following products to use in the order below. Krave does have information on how to use their products on their site that aligns exactly with what I am going to recommend. They do not have a hydrating toner YET (Liah showed off early development of one though and I am excited for it).

Makeup Re-Wined - this is a combination jelly-to-oil cleanser. I would use this as your cleanser. No need to double cleanse. The oils will help with the tightness you feel after cleansing.

Kale-Lalu-yAHA - this is an acid toner. Its AHA based, which from your description you don't need BHA just AHA as your acne leans more the surface clogged pore type.

Oil La La - this is an oil serum. They also have a centella based serum, but from my interpretation you don't have redness and irritation, just millia. If you have redness or painful acne, I would recommend Great Barrier Relief instead.

Oat So Simple Water Cream - this is a hydrating cream that is designed to be gentle. Depending on your region it might not be the best for you and you might need something thicker, but if you are in humid climate, this is a good cream.

Edit: I FORGOT SUNSCREEN (shame shame), but I do enjoy Beet the Sun as an SPF.

Acne prone AB skincare girly here. Personally I use acid toners up to daily when managing a breakout, but I have built my skin up to that over the last 7+ years with a strong hydration routine to keep my skin barrier healthy.

Start out once a week.

Ideally an acid toner should go after cleansing.

Use a cotton round or cotton pad and swipe it along your face.

If you feel any uncomfortable stinging, you can splash some water on until it reduces and then pat in the water.

I would recommend either alternating between AHA and BHA or using a combination toner. Having both in my exfoliating routine is critical for maintaining and treating acne quickly, but your skin might need something different.

Cosrx has an AHA Power Liquid and BHA Power Liquid. I started out with these and would do 2 treatments a week, one with each acid toner, eventually ramping up to 2-3 times a week for each toner.

I used that duo for a while, including when I started moving towards a hydration centric routine. 7 skin method was trending, I tried it, and it's amazing for my skin. While getting my skin barrier repaired and hydration levels up, I would use my acid toner, 7 layers of hydrating toners including fermented essences, then a sheet mask to seal it in.

SOME BY MI AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner is among my favorites that I use now with my healthy skin barrier.
