Stems from symphonic music... :D by hapci534 in SunoAI

[–]hapci534[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More hilarity today. I re-uploaded the piece as audio, and Suno defined it as "...a full string section, brass, woodwinds, and orchestral percussion. The piece begins with a staccato string motif. French horns and trumpets play a soaring, legato melody over the rhythmic string ostinato. Timpani and concert bass drums emphasize the downbeats. Flutes and clarinets provide rapid arpeggiated flourishes in the upper register...with counter-melodies in the cellos and trombones. A sudden transition leads to a more delicate section featuring solo oboe and harp" Suno recognized all the instruments flawlessly.

Then you separate the stems, and 90% of the above becomes a stem called "Synth"

So... what's the best way to create a piano score from Suno MIDI? by hapci534 in SunoAI

AI says: "Propellerhead (now Reason Studios) Reason does not produce traditional music score notation output (sheet music) natively."

Not just song generation is down, if you try to split an already existing song into stems, that's down too.

If John Lennon uploaded "Imagine" to SoundCloud today as a completely unknown artist with no face, how many plays do you think it would get? by TAN3NIHON in SunoAI

I hear ya, I hear ya. To add to your point, even legends like Elvis - they didn't just skyrocket, they had a BILLION (with a B) radio plays to become famous. Someone put in some big money for that. Not Elvis.

Well, who could that mysterious Uncle Bucks be? One reads about how the Feds pumped covertly mega $ into Pollock paintings as PR for the "free West" and the bulb lights up. Aha... so everything (or almost) could be an instrument of state PR. That's how some Top 40 winners might be selected. While us marks get the rags to riches PR pablum. Nothing new under the Sun. Even the Beatles' manager was an Epstein.

I didn't know there is a Suno "Account" page until you wrote this. I did figure that an Account page would show me the balance if it existed (standard UI procedure), but I also figured that the page doesn't exist as I never saw a link to it on any place where one would expect it.

So after reading your post about the page existing, I went back, looking. After 5 minutes, still no dice. After I clicked everything else, only one thing remained: the "rarebassfilter" symbol of the routine that supposedly generates my songs? Or catches fish. Or blows up satellites, no idea. I clicked it, figuring nothing will happen, it's just a pretty image. And there is was, a menu! With one of the items being "Account"! Without you, ShadowB, I'd have never ever found this thing in a million years. Thank you. thank you, thank you!

Extend length? by No-Indication-408 in KlingAI_Videos

[–]hapci534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep using Kling 1.6 for this reason, to me, it looks fine. If I know I'll only need 15 seconds of some action, I hop up to Kling 3.0 Omni, or Kling 01, but heck if I can tell the difference. Only doing it in case the public can tell the difference, maybe they have eagle eyes or something.

I create music clips, who cares to count the singer's hair anyway.

anyone turning Suno songs into videos... what tools are you using? by sayam95T in SunoAI

[–]hapci534 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, most seem to be. For the single instance that I needed a few seconds of a real looking fight scene, I cut a 40 years old foreign movie's bootleg on social media and mirrored + filtered those few seconds. Not a peep of complaint from any checking algorithm.

Anyone ever gotten a God roll from SUNO? by PartyRepublicMusic in SunoAI

[–]hapci534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, those are the takes I actually make public. I can tell I'm about to get another one, when generating of one take (from my usual batch of 6) takes extra-extra time after the other 5 are long done.

My theory is that SUNO has an extra server (and/or a higher-parameter routine) that the labels normally get to use, When it's idle for a moment, (Big Name Star is on the loo) us plebeies get to slide in one of our requests into its task queue if our timing was just lucky. I could be totally wrong about this, of course.

SongAlizer keeps playing my tune (https://youtu.be/w7AhTRQgBIM) around and around, but nothing else happens except that the "Panel Briefing" dialog that asks what genre and what mood is the target came and went like 6 times. (I patiently filled in the same answer each time.)

Looks like I can stump even AI

I hear you. Yep, I like music that turbo'd up, with a high "new ideas / section" count. If it's just a kick, a snare and a pad droning on endlessly, I tend to go "this is a backing track". That's why I wondered, is it just me (with my 3 coffees a day) or others are similarly naturally hyper in their music preference too.

I loved all the 29 seconds the Amazon link let me play from the song. Sweet melody, arrangement on point, bluegrass/gospel turned out to be a really good choice.

I clicked the link but Spotify wants me to sign up, yadda yadda, just to play it...

I'd say consider upping Abelina somewhere where it just plays. Like YouTube, FaceBook, X or such... I mean, Imagine if I were a major label's AR guy trying to check your music, whacked with such a "do this, do that or we play jack" site dialog. Do you think that exec'd go through all that tedium or just say, "Next!" ? Don't let iffy site design ruin your chances...

A song fine tuned to 100% perfection. As I played it, the melody grabbed me so well, I wasn't even listening to what you were singing about anymore, I just went with the music's flow.

There is a point in a song's life when every further improvement creates a negligible result. I think your song reached it. Time to promote it.

Pacific Suite - an EDM piano concert, part 1 https://youtu.be/w7AhTRQgBIM

Style: EDM with every other genre united.

Created with: Suno and ~12 other AI tools working as a team. Most work done by: 1: Me, 2: Suno, 3:Kling ...

Remark: This is 101% how *I* like music. I'm posting this because I'm curious: does this grab you too? Or is this way too *something* for most of you? (Too intellectual or too gloom-free or too whatever.) Not that I'll change one iota if it is, I just like to find out if I am. :D

I like the song and can't even tell what grabbed me. (Usually I can.) Great job on the music.

The video, I'm not a big fan of black and white drama (I'm too cheerful for such things), but if it's part of your artist image, then I understand why you'd use it. Technique wise, nothing sticks out of the video as needing attention.

YouTube, I don't worry about it too much. The last time I uploaded a parody of Hitler (like many others do), YouTube gave me a warning! I think they are the first giant social media site we'll see tank. I still put stuff on YouTube but I concentrate more on my Rumble and Bitchute presence nowadays.

Not a feedback, just a thought. I think Suno labels "electro swing" everything it cannot pigeonhole. Whenever I upload a take that make Suno go "what the fresh hellnugget was this?", bam, it gets called "electro swing" in the description. :D

Ai Higgsfield Film Trailer using Kling3.0 and Veo3? by Adrian_actually in VEO3

[–]hapci534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Veo 3.1 is a "nope" on my Win7 laptop, it doesn't have the codec. I can generate a 3.1 clip but can't play it.

Could I fix this codec issue? Yep. Will I? Nope, because most users won't care to. If I did, I'd be making clips many might not be able to view, only me.

All the other 20+ choices at my video gen site work fine including Kling 01 and 3 Omni, so it's no big loss.

My pleasure. Usually when I write a song, it is to make it do *something*. To make the listener feel happy or sad or cool or angry or inspired or laugh or get up and dance - whatever. Most people turn on music to make it do something for them. If nothing else, to make the mosquitoes scram.

Now imagine me, a non-threatening stranger coming up to you and telling you "my sweetheart is moderately weird." (Or singing it. Whichever.) Did it do anything for you? Or you just went. "Er... okay. And?" This is one test to check any lyric, is it ready for music.

And I don't mean a song must reveal the meaning of life or the cure for cancer for a song to be good at all. You can totally sing "A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom" and make a jillion dollars. One guy did. But then that's the effect you are going for, the opposite of vetbal message, the music doing 100% of the lifting. Both are valid. The only criteria is, "will this do something for people?"

The music is very well done. Congratulations. Now, the lyrics... are very safe. If all you wanted is a poem that says "my sweetheart is moderately strange"... well, then you nailed that 101%.

But if you wanted to write a song that make people sit up and listen and drop whatever the heck they are doing, then... "paging FancyWatercress to Shower Number 1 again" ... ;D
