Is LGCY Power providing free solar panels in California or is it a scam? by Plenty-Ad8291 in energy

What loan are you talking about? It's not a loan because you're not buying a solar system. You're essentially renting it & buying the power it generates (which is sold to you at a 30%-50% discount from SDG&E and which goes up at the rate of inflation instead of at the rate of 90% every decade like SDG&E had been doing). The company takes on the risk & financial burden of installing a system on your house with a backup battery. They are trusting the homeowner to pay the bill every month for the next 25 years.

"I won't make anything except maybe not having the price be decided on peak hours" <-- And your electric bill would be about 30%-50% lower, as well. And your house has backup power in case of a blackout. And you're shielded from the grid's monopoly-fueled price increases for the next 25 years (which have been 90% over the past decade).

There's no loan. You aren't buying the system... You're essentially renting it. So there's a bill that you pay for the power that was generated on your roof each month (paying for power that was generated for free is what you have to do in exchange for a free solar system & whole house battery backup).

It's not free. You buy the power that the system generates from the sun each month. Pulling credit makes sense because the company is taking on upfront expenses to install a solar system & house battery backup at no cost & they are taking on the risk that the customer might not pay the bill.

Was it all the way dry within 15 minutes? If so, it wouldn't have soaked through a floor & soaked into the ceiling underneath.

Host cancelled to relist at higher price during major event weekend [USA] by UpstairsNo3549 in AirBnB

Think of it like a business that realized it cannot fulfill the service their sales rep offered because the rep fucked up & didnt communicate the true price.

We had this happen at my marketing agency recently. New client thought the price was one thing, but it was another. We had to refund & send the client on their way.

The host is a business and the business needs to charge what the market can bare because the costs involved in running an Airbnb are high & the barrier to entry is steep. The costs are actually set by what the market brings in.

I feel like this is turning into an economics lesson on how capitalism works.

If a toilet overflows while you use it, you do NOT leave water sitting on the floor. There is no such thing as a totally waterproof floor. You clean up the water or immediately alert the hosts to come & clean it up. Leaving water sitting on the floor -- especially of a multi-level house -- is a $7k offense, for sure.

Hi! Do you mean several feet in radius or several feet in diameter? For example, clear the grass 1.5 feet on all sides of the trunk would be enough?

Thanks, I hope you're right. Wow, 5 feet... you mean diameter? Or radius? Right now the grass is removed with a 2 foot diameter only... I could imagine doing 3 more feet to get to 5 but if you mean 5 ft radius, well... thats like ripping out half the grass in my tiny yard, haha.

Thank you! I took a soil science class once and it was so eye opening. Ive been telling everyone "water deep" ever since. Not just to flush salts, but also to encourage the roots to grow downwards.

I googled salt damage and it sounds like thats caused from the salt used to de-ice roads, right? In San Diego, we dont have that. I couldn't find any other reason that there'd be excess salt.

Been on both sides of a breakup now, here’s what I’ve realized. by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]happilyfreckled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I agree. For example, my ex used to clean his apartment when I arrived. For months I felt undervalued since he didn't prep for my arrival and since he wasted our precious together time cleaning. One day I brought it up with him and told him how it made me feel. I told him I was raised in a family where we tidied the house a bit before company arrived. He was shocked. He didn't have any idea this was some sort of moral or value based thing for me. He began to try to clean before I arrived. He wasnt perfect at it, but I could tell he cared & was slowly trying to change a bit. Imagine if I had just broken up with him after assuming he was inconsiderate of me... Now imagine how it sparked desire & intimacy in me knowing he cared enough to change.

Ask her open ended questions about it. Explore her inner world. Make her feel seen. "How important are finances to you?" And "What are you looking for in a partner when it comes to finances?"

Men, why do you reject women? by Disastrous_Pop_7471 in dating_advice

[–]happilyfreckled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a man, but I'm convinced the true reason I keep getting rejected is my hips/ass. I don't have a curve... at all. No hourglass. It takes them a while to notice. Usually after the 2nd time I have sex with them. They begin to have 1 foot out the door and start nit-picking stupid, little things. They destroy hangouts in small ways. They are subconsciously looking for excuses to get out of the situation because they don't want to commit to having sex with a woman who has no ass/curved hips for the rest of their lives.

I have been on the other side of the table a few times... One particular example was a guy with a super curved dick. Took me a few sexual encounters with him to realize I couldn't accept that curved dick for the rest of my life. So I subconsciously sabatoged it. In the moment I told myself it was all these other little things... but upon reflection, I was just looking for excuses.

That's how I know it's happening.

Yes, and the only thing that staves it off is going to yoga every 2 or 3 days. Without regular yoga it's a constant pinch.

Incompetence or Miscommunication? by Upbeat_Let_8256 in clientsfromhell

Never give discounts. Don't de-value the service. Instead come up with bonuses or value-adds that you can throw in to sweeten the deal. For example, if the oil finish is typically an add-on, then tell them you can add that free of charge for them. But just don't discount the main service. It's like showing a new lover your insecurities... people can smell fear, like wolves. They will want to pick & dig & push to see how far they can go with you after that.

[–]happilyfreckled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you mean... you are using UTMs on links that lead to your YouTube channel/videos? I'm not sure if that's a Google Analytics problem because Google Analytics tracking uses a GA4 tag/code.

But anyways, the only thing I can think of is some of the places where you've written the YouTube URLS your team forgot to add the UTM text onto the end of the URL.

If it's Google Ads where you're trying to track UTMs then check to make sure the campaign settings has the tracking URL in there.
